Wonderful Paella

It's pretty hard to find authentic paella anywhere in our local area, but Guardado's is definitely one restaurant that fits the bill. It's best to call ahead and order it as it'll take 45 minutes to prepare from the time ordered. Although the 45 minutes can be sent drinking sangria and tasting... read more

My wife and I were very excited about eating at this restaurant because we love Spanish food. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were very promptly seated and ordered a glass of Malbec (which was the best thing on the menu). After we ordered and received the gambas al ajillo (which were better than most), we received our chorizo... More

Looking for a casual, neighborhood spot? A small, family-run restaurant instead of one of the hip, crowded chains? Then try Guardado's. We felt welcomed into someone's home. The hostess and waitstaff were unfailingly polite and attentive. Our food was terrific. The paella is enough for 4 if you have a few tapas while you wait. Best sangria I have had... More

When ever we visit someplace new we always try to eat at a locally owned establishment. Looking for good tapas we decided to give Guardado's a try. The place is a cozy little place and looks like it could have been imported from Central or South America. On street parking is threadbare, but there is a public parking garage directly... More

We had Guardado's cater our granddaughter's baptism and, boy, they did another fantastic job! It was such a special day and Reyna and her daughter were wonderful! Again, absolutely delicious foods and Sangria. Thank you AGAIN:-)

My husband and I have eaten several times at Guardado's and on each occasion came away happy and overfed. We've only eaten from the Tapas menu but that's what we were there for. We've been disappointed in a few of our choices but these are the stars for us: mussels (ask for extra bread and don't let them take the... More

No, you won't see shots of the interior gracing the cover of Architectural Digest but you come here for the food and old-world family charm and service. Have eaten here several times now and the food is consistent and some of the best tapas in the area (and it's been a struggle finding good tapas). Don't miss the sauteed spinach... More

This is a real find! Thank you, Trip Advisor. The service is excellent and exceptionally attentive and pleasant. The dishes were very tasty: I had the gambas with chorizo, the ceviche and a ensalada de las casa. Only criticism was the the ceviche was a bit too spicy and really too salty and the gambas were a little expensive ($7.95)... More

I've eaten here several times and it's just ok. For latin spanish cuisine I find the food very bland. Almost like it hasn't even been seasoned. The service is just ok. Overall the place needs some work

Hi, I know it's been a year since Guardado catered by husbands birthday party but had to review their wonderful job. First of all, Reyna, met me at their restaurants and let me select recipes to sample at no cost. The appetizers, salad, paella and dessert were PERFECT. I was very worried that they would not be able to duplicate... More
