I like how the place looks small but it actually very big. Has pool tables, tables to sit at, bar, and dancing. Food is good too!

I bought a Groupon for Union Jack's and really had rather low expectations for the food. Was really going for a fun thing to do one night before watching Downton Abbey. We were really surprised at the quality of the food. I had a wonderful salmon dish with a citrus cream on a bed of great mashed potatoes and asparagus.... More

On service: The waitress was rude and gave my friend a bad attitude when he asked for the wine list. My biggest gripe was that at the end of the night the waitress told me I owed $157.21. Apparently, she put all the drinks my friends were ordering on my tab. The waitress and whoever was the manager failed to... More

We go to Bethesda and some how we always end up spending at least an hour or two in Union Jacks before or after or originally planned destination. The atmosphere is amazing. Great pub style with a large dance floor multiple bar area options and bar games. Who wouldn't love a place like this? The answer from looking around is... More

Had a blast at Union Jacks. Live music, many big screens, great place to watch a soccer match! Food was delicious, as was the staff. Don't miss Monty Python Holy Grail Ale and a plate of Bavarian pretzels. Loved it!!

I and a group of colleagues from NIH visited a place on Thursday night for their "happy hour" specials. I came a little earlier, so I sat at the bar for a little while. It was empty, but a bartender still took her sweet time getting me my beer, twice in a row. They did everything BUT serve paying customers.... More

Friday night dinner. Place 25% full and the noise level was incredible. The young wait staff was more interested in making out at the hostess stand than taking care of their tables. The shepard's pie was mediocre and my New Castle fall off the bone ribs were terrible to disgusting. The fat to meat ratio was three to one. There... More

Great selection of British beers, which you would expect. Typical bar food, but done very well. The onion rings we had were outstanding. We were glad we were seated in the pool area because the noise level in the other areas was very high, no doubt due to the industrial, non-acoustic sealing. We also had the ribs and bread pudding... I've reviewed this place before for Saturday nights, but this time we've decided to have a few drinks on a Sunday night. It's a completely different experience and not for the better. We were hoping to watch a game, but the place has "Live Music Night". They band seemed to think that the louder they play the better it sounds.... More

Lots of big screen TV's with some EPL and Champions league games if you want it (I do). The food is generally good and a decent selection of draft beer including London Pride. They get pretty close with the bangers and mash to real UK pud food too. Younger crowd generally but pretty quiet mid week unless there is game... More
