No frills establishment with very good food.

Order the large guacamole, they mix it at the table. I ordered the chimichangas on recommendation and I enjoyed it. $100 for dinner for five.

The service was good, very authentic atmosphere and our server was quick. The frozen margarita was delish! The chips and dip were good, chips were good, didn't try the salsa and he quest was a bit too spicy and watery and tasted like it came out of a bottle. The fish tacos were good, not soggy, fish wasn't dried out.... More

Always, always, always get the fresh guac made right at your table! We have been to both locations numerous times and the food is always very good. It is especially popular on weekends and sometimes the wait is long- especially at the Baltimore Pike location

Went here with a mixed group of adults and kids (under ten). The service was great which is key when traveling/eating with kids. No time for boredom to set in. We ended up in a large room by ourselves. The background music was a bit loud but the staff was very responsive and adjusted it very quickly once asked. Adults... More

I've visited the Bel Air and Churchville locations dozens of times, and have had great experiences each time. The food is authentic, the menu is extensive, and the service is good. I'm not a huge fan of guacamole but to those who are, there is a person who goes around to each table offering to make it fresh on the... More

You know, I used to be a big fan of this restaurant. However, my last few meals have been average at best. The tilapia in the last meal of fish tacos was WAY overcooked, the beans were tasteless, and the rice lacking flavor. That's about the way most Mexican and Chinese restaurants go these days. You sit down, eat your... More

Do not let the exterior fool you. Great tacos, great Mexican food. The music fits the atmosphere, clean and organized. Mexican food is my favorite and I come here every weekend. Never had a bad dish and the price is exceptional.

LA Tolteca in Bel Air has THE BEST table side made guac in the county. The Homemade tortilla chips also...hands down the best.

Good was great. Definitely get the table side guacamole--yum!!! Chiles rellenos was also incredibly good. Surprised to find that this is a chain. We will be back.
