I've been to this restaurant a few times over the past few years when visiting York Beach and I really can't explain why I go back. It's always a so so experience. I never know what to make of the menu - the offerings include seafood ravioli (used to be lobster ravioli), flat bread pizza and cheese steaks (might as... More

This is charming Inn and dining room, service was excellent and all the dishes ordered were delicious ( Seafood Chowder, Stuffed Haddock, Steamed mussels, Lemon Brick roasted chicken, and the special flatbread of the day)

We ate in the downstairs pub of the York Harbor Inn, but the Inn fine dining restaurant and the "The Cellar" share the same kitchen and menu. The ambiance in The Cellar is quite cozy, and nice to visit a traditional restaurant after so many years of 'family restaurant' service. For 5 adults, the bill with tip (and a price... More

We (my wife and myself) respectively enjoyed very fresh and delicious Haddock and Mushroom with Polenta as main courses, and mussels and salad as starters. The mussels starter was almost a complete meal in itself. Service was efficient for such a busy evening - friendly and helpful. There was a pleasant ambience and it was all a reasonable price. We... The meal was one of the best I have ever had! My dish and my husband's dish were both 5-star meals! If in the area again, we will definitely eat here (and stay hare) again!

Go to a place in a restaurant that bills "harbor" in its name and is located in a quintessential New England coastal village and you shouldn't be surprised to find lots of seafood, particularly lobster, on the menu. The converted Victorian-style mansion affords ocean and park views from many tables. The decor is an homage to our seafaring fantasies...low ceilings,... More

My wife & I sat at the bar upstairs because we enjoy the atmosphere there and we like listening to the music. The bar stools are comfortable which allows you to enjoy dinner. The menu offers a wide selection do seafood as well as other dishes. Bar staff is very friendly. Great spot to spend a weekend.

The York Harbor Inn has many buildings that can suits any persons personal preference including pets. The food is varied and wonderful from sandwiches and chowders to delicious meals. The beverage selection is varied and large. The views from the dining room and guest rooms are spectacular. I would highly recommend the inn for a vacation or just a meal... More

Looking for a late afternoon dinner/lunch and not wanting to take a chance on a Rte 1 question mark, we decided to stop at the York Harbor Inn and to eat in the downstairs pub Good decision! This is like being below (it's in the lower level but still has a nice ocean view!) in a fine old cruising steamer.... More

Haven't been to the York Harbor Inn for years. We were VERY pleased with our meal, service, and the atmosphere. Seated near the bar in the main dining room on a Friday night, the restaurant was buzzing with people chatting and enjoying the evening. There was also live music playing that was pleasant, but unobtrusive. Our waitress was helpful and... More
