Lovely ocean view and good food

My husband and I had dinner here on a Sunday evening. The host sat us at a table looking out over Harbor Beach as the tide was going out, it was lovely. Our waitress was very friendly and charming. We both had corn lobster chowder followed by the haddock - my husband had it broiled and I opted for... read more

I dine alone and therefore are usual thrown in a corner which is what happened. I asked if I could sit in the table near the harbor but was told those were reserved. No one sat there while I was dining. I also order a salad with lobster which tasted like they added imitation crab to it to "stretch" it.... More

Fantastic!!!! French onion soup the best I've ever had. Our group ate downstairs in the pub which resembles a hull of a ship. Fish, pasta, crab and salads and it was all wonderful.

My wife and I stayed at the York Harbor Inn so we decided to try their restaurant. Glad we did. They sat us by the window with a nice view of the ocean. Our waitress was efficient if not exactly the most friendly. The roasted garlic and butter at the beginning of our meal was a nice touch. I recommend... More

We had the steamed lobster dinner at York Harbor Inn in York Harbor, Maine last night (5/12/15). Probable the best lobster dinner I have ever had and certainly the most reasonable priced at $32. Waitress was super friendly and helpful.

I am not giving this the top meal I've ever had because I wanted a shrimp dish and they didn't have a stand alone dish on the menu. I ordered a ricotta and spinach ravioli with shellfish sauce. It was delicious, but not what I was in the mood for. My husband ordered steak. He said it was excellent. It... More

We dined Sunday night in the Ship's Cellar pub. The wait staff and host were friendly. Unfortunately, the waiter who brought our food was witnessed across the dining room constantly running his hands through his hair. GROSS! The waiter has not had any training (placed dishes far away, entree facing away, etc.) and on a slow night...no one was there... More

We had a lovely romantic dinner overlooking the bay. They managed to get us in at the last moment and made to feel very welcome. The food and service were terrific and we would definitely return.
