Best NE clam chowder

The Lobster Cove is a very nice restaurant with full ocean views. Their menu ranges from snacks to full menu with many daily specials. They also serve breakfast which is good. I would recommend this restaurant as the best choice if you're looking for really good food at York Beach.

The waitress was very cool. My wife and I were the only ones in there about 3 30 P.M. Loved the crab cakes with the black bean topping. The lobster bisque was the best that I have tasted. The shrimp were great too. We loved the Maine blueberry pie and the bread pudding with the whiskey sauce. Appetizers were half... More

We have been visiting the Lobster Cove restaurant for several years and have always been thrilled with their service and meals. The last two times we have gone recently their seafood has just been ok. Their haddock was a little dry, haddock sandwich a little fishy taste and smell. Nothing horrible or even bad but just not as good as... More

This was the place that another lobster joint we were originally going to check out pointed us to (they were not a sit down restaurants, oops). Lobster Cove was just the experience I was looking for. Top floor, beach house feel, ocean front view. You get the New England sea breeze and salty air while you eat that delicious seafood.... More

This is a friendly, casual dining place with decent food and great service. You can see the ocean and two lighthouses from about every table. Staff are very friendly. Great appetizers. Only open Thursday-Sunday during winter months.

We visited this on a cold windy, snowy Friday. We were pleasantly welcomed and our server, Nancy, could not have been nicer and more accomodating. Our food was very good and the views were spectacular, even in middle of a long and nasty winter. My husband and I both highly recommend this place and we are so eager to go... More

Tie on your bib and wield your hammer to tuck into two whole lobsters, with baked potato and corn on the cob. Can't go wrong.

Having been driving by here for a long time we finally stopped by for lunch. It was late and we knew we would be going out for a big dinner so ate light. I had lobster bisque and my wife had the haddock chowder. Mine was creamy and delicious and hers was quite a treat...a large cut of fish in... More
