Just what we were looking for

In search of the clam rolls from her youth, when our family vacationed in Maine each summer, my Las Vegas based sister and I went to one of the first places we could find and it did not disappoint. Excellent wait staff, very good food, fun...prime location. Got a table quickly even when they were slammed. Trolley stops here, leave your car at the hotel and have fun!

We generally hit Lobster Cove upon our arrival since we stay nearby. Our dinner was good and uneventful. The only issue--and this a warning to all travelers--is that the 3rd week of August is tough on all the restaurants in the coastal area. The college kids are headed back to school, and all of a sudden, everyone is short on... More

Great place right on the beach for breakfast, lunch and dinner.. Reasonable and family friendly…I know this sound odd, but they had the best napkins…..not linen, but not flimsy paper either. Really absorbent. AWESOME….

Keep driving!!! The location is great but the food was horrible. Ordered from the special menu, got the seafood lasagna...looked and tasted like a microwave dinner from a few nights ago. My wife got the seafood casserole which was much better but at about $30 very disappointing.... Same with the crab cakes that came drenched in French salad dressing?!?

We only had the free breakfast provided to us by the Sunrise Motel. It was an average 2 eggs, toast, homefries and coffee. It was good and the service was fine. The views of the ocean are a pleasant way to start the day.

This was a pleasant surprise. We went for dinner and I had delicious steamers. My husband had a great Lobster Roll and we shared terrific thin sliced onion rings (although we couldn't finish this tremendous order ... enough for 4-6). We decided to go back 2 nights later because we didn't feel like travelling to far from York Harbor and... More

We eat here every year and I love the BLT. This year we happened across their happy hour. We ended up with the potato skins that were cooked to perfection. The amount of sour cream that is served with the skins is more than enough. Then we had the dinner salad that was in a huge bowl and everything was... More

We walked to this restaurant from the Tanglewood B&B; it was in a safe area and there were sidewalks the whole way, which was a definite plus for us. The restaurant was a little pricey, but there was plenty of seafood selection, which we liked. We had the chance to gorge on lobster, which was very good. Would go here... More
