Really goooood!

This restaurant was part of a breakfast deal with our hotel so we ate breakfast there for 4 days (and one dinner). We had something different for each breakfast and were never disappointed. We felt like we'd stepped back in time to the 90s at Lobster Cove. The decor and the menus looked like they hadn't been updated for a long time, but, that really didn't matter, it all added to the experience. The food was tasty and our waitress was lovely. It was extremely reasonably priced too. Well worth a visit for... More

Stopped here last Thursday for lunch. I chose the clam roll and the wife chose haddock. Both of those items were very good and the portions were very large. I had started with a cup of clam chowder. I was disappointed with the chowder, as it contained a major overdose of pepper. The excess pepper ruined the taste of the... More

While in Maine we had to have some fresh seafood. For the complete experience we wanted something with a fantastic view and it doesn't get any better than the 2nd floor of this restaurant. I had the Haddock and my wife had the Lobster. The Haddock was fresh and a huge portion of perfectly cooked and tasty fish. The coleslaw... More

My fiancé and I were on a day trip and came to York Maine and were in awe of the beautiful sites, brace waves, ocean air and breeze and absolutely loved it. We stopped at York Cove for lunch and I thought it would be great to get lobster, I got the roll and he got the cooked lobster. Started... More

I am sorry that you feel your experience was a bad one. I recall you being in the restaurant and bringing you several forks. I do believe you had forks to eat the crab cakes as well, if I took them when clearing the appetizer plates I do apologize. I do not believe that was the case though. You got... More

Very disappointed. Based on the reviews we headed here so I could get a great taste of Maine lobster on our first visit to the area. After reading the reviews I decided on the lobster bisque. It came out tasting very gritty and the taste was definitely off and the mixture was separating. After three tastes I sat it aside.... More

I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed. The twin lobster that we sell for a different price is simply a special. The lobsters are all the same size, the price is just a special price. The lobsters at this time of year are hard shell and full of meat so I am surprised to hear that you were... More

This is a no frills restaurant across the street from the beach. I ordered lobster bisque to start. It was good but not great. We both ordered the jumbo lobster roll, $19.99. It comes in a large, grilled New England hot dog roll with very little mayo. It was very good. It comes with a side of delicious cole slaw... More

My mom (82 years old) and I stayed in Ogunquit and were looking for a lobster dinner. We went to another local restaurant and were not impressed with the ambience and prices...$25.00 for a chicken lobster and $39.00 for two. We drove a bit further and found the Lobster Cove which was right on the water and offered twin lobsters... More
