Excellant chef/owner that was offered the chef's position at the Woodlands Country Club. Our loss and their gain.

Stephanie offers about half her menu as gluten free every night. She changes menus very few weeks. The staff has been with her a long time making this a truly friendly experience with knowledgeable service. Delicious steaks, and fantastic seafood. Stephanie is classically trained and worked at the Ritz Carlton in Boston. She did my entire 50th birthday party for... More

Salmon on a bed of spinach was perfectly prepared and served the moment it was ready to eat. Excellent service. Fair prices for excellent cooking and ingredients. Chef/owner was on the grill. Convivial dining room in a great location off 295 and Route 1.

This venue has every opportunity to be a special place north of Portland. But it is not. The bar is nice, but the food is average at best. Very little flavor, no creativity, and subpar ingredients. (The steak, despite local purchasing options, was not local or grass fed, e.g.) Potatoes tasted like something one would get at Dennys. Bland and... More

I can't express how wonderful the Chef is at this restaurant, only about a 10 minute drive from The Brewster House, it was Absolutely Amazing! The whole dining experience from start to finish could not have been any better. Plan to spend at least $150 for 2 people but worth every penny!

Again went with four friends....we were late in asking for a reservation, and the only time was 5:30pm..not our usual time, but were coming down coast and it worked. What a delight!! Four different meals, fish, meat and pasta-based...Each meal was delicious, the salads fresh, crunchy and unique.. One downer, one guest wanted a Rusty Nail, which they couldn't do,... More

Absolutely love it! Menu changes every three weeks, and there are always interesting options. Service has always been great. Why go to Portland when this is better than any place in the city? Stephanie has done a great job...I always feel like family when I go! I have yet to find a better restaurant in this state.

My wife and I selected this restaurant for our anniversary dinner because of its excellent reviews. We left the place sort of underwhelmed. My wife liked her Lobster Tortellini appetizer but would have liked a larger portion for the price. I had the goat cheese wonton appetizer, and I was somewhat disappointed with both the portion size and the flavor.... More

I've only eaten here a few times because I don't get to eat out often without the kids. I also work over the restaurant, so I get to smell the smells often, and they are good.

We have been stopping in Brunswick, Maine for a few years - on our way up to Canada and had enjoyed eating at the Back Street Bistro. Unfortunately, it closed this year, but i had read that the chef was moving to Seagrass in nearby Yarmouth. I figured it was worth a try and am extremely glad we did. Stephanie,... More
