Seven of us had a wonderful easter buffet On May 20th. The presentation, quality of food, service and all around setting was excellent. The Management, Chef & Staff had their act together. Very pleasant and memorable event. One of the best in the area. Donato Fortebraccio, author, food writer.

The restaurant is clean and attractive, sand the servers were polite. Overall, not a great value. We were not impressed with either the preparation or the freshness of the food.

I made the mistake of taking my wife and kids here for mother's day one time. The food was terrible. Vegtables right out of the can. Kraft mac and cheese for the kids. Entree's were reheated frozen food I could get at the supermarket. The view is OK if you like marshgrass and you can get a view table. There... More

We live locally and had family from out of town visiting, so went here for dinner on a Friday night. There were six of us in the party. We made reservations and were seated quickly upon arrival. The dining room we were in was only about half full. Not much for a view - just looking out on a marsh.... More

Nice spot on the ocean. We had a group-on for this place and traveled 2 hours to meet friends for dinner. All the meals were done well. I had the Friday night Prime Rib. It was great. A glass of Merlot com pleated the meal. Service was good. Glad we came to try we will be back.

Seventeen of us went to Muddy Rudder for brunch on Sunday. We had only one server. My fish sandwich was good; I removed the lettuce and tomato and made a salad--only two choices of salad dressing (blue cheese and balsamic vinegar); the "remoulade sauce for the fish sandwich wasn't very good--I asked for tartar sauce which was much better; those... My husband and I love the Rudder's new happy hour. It's 7 days a week and offers $3 taps and $3 apps. Just four to choose from, but all very good. It's quite and the atmosphere is great. I also really enjoy the dining room and regular menu. I have been here for Mother's Day and Thankgiving several times and... More

I drive by Muddy Rudder frequently on I295; recently I decided to stop for lunch. The day was a quite Monday, I was there around 1PM, there were very few people in the restaurant, I first thought it might be closed based on the parking lot. Service was fast, given how empty the room was (me, a single) and a... More

We celebrated our anniversary her last night ... the staff made it special in every way! From the maître d' wishing us a happy anniversary, to our waitress being so friendly & obliging, to the piano playing in the background all evening. Couldn't have asked for a nicer dining experience. Oh, the food was excellent! We shared a fried clam... More

Although we live very far away, we have made opportunities to dine at this restaurant for 10-15 years. The atmosphere is charming, the tables are comfortably far apart, and the daylight view over the marsh is lovely. The service is very professional and the seafood consistently excellent. The bar is grand and the desserts varied and delicious.
