We usually eat here once a year on our way through. This year the menu was different and I missed the lobster scampi but the haddock was very good. I would come back.

We've stopped at the Grillhouse several times before and have always had a good lunch. The tables by the window give you a great view of the river and the boats tied up there. On occasion, you might get to see the sea eagles soaring around, but there are plenty of gulls and cormorants to keep you entertained as well.... More

We stopped in for dinner over the weekend and had some of the best food ever served. The local filet mignon and lobster special was equal too or better than any dish I have had in the big cities, WOW! The service was quick and friendly, just the way it should be. Great wines to go with our meal and... More

I stopped by here with the family on the recommendation of a customer the Delorme store, and we were not disappointed. The food was good, if a little on the slow side, and the price for a group of seven quite reasonable. We would stop again ... Next time we are in Maine.

I used to love this place! USED to being the operative phrase....First my friend and I had a glass of wine and two appetizers at happy hour time at the bar, that were very good. BUT the service at the bar, wow, it was NOT good. You want a bar tender to be quick, friendly, helpful. We got slow to... More

A friend and I had lunch here last week. She ordered a chicken salad wrap which was full of gristle. In addition I was served what appeared to be an eyelash on the pickle that came with my sandwich. Both my friend and I thought these 2 incidents were unacceptable especially at a restaurant of this purported caliber. View was... More

We stopped in for lunch. Great view, good service, pretty poor quality food. It wasn't as if they were not trying, the menu was fairly interesting, but the execution was not so great. Two of us had the salmon cake, which had an odd consistency as if it had been almost pureed before it was made into the salmon cake.... More

I went here with my wife; we live in Falmouth, within a few miles of the RRG, and have been there at least a dozen times. The strong suit is the location, almost every part of the building has a water view; there's a screened in deck, large dining area, and good sized bar. Food was and always is good.... More

...everything else seemed off. I was excited to have my husband try this place - I've been here already with friends for a bachelorette party & had a spectacular time. And because I've been here before, I Assumed this would be an easy-peasy experience, Can't wait to Write a 5 Star Review. Well...I swore we were in the movie Groundhog... More
