Great stop on a beautiful summer day! Staff was friendly and service was very fast from ordering to meal being ready! Good size portion of fried clams and hand cut fries. Cole slaw is also homemade and tasty. Nice to eat outside and be able to get food or seafood to go, as well!

We just happened upon Days as we went down to Portland on our way from Boothbay Harbor. It's a "hole in the wall" kind of road side diner/crab shack with only outdoor seating. We ordered at the window and waited for our number to be called. Very quickly we had fabulous fried clams and steamers, two sodas. Great to eat... More

Quick family trip after school shopping and we could not have been more pleased with a simple perfect Maine lobster roll. Prices cannot be beat! Excellent hand cut fries. We'll be back for sure!

We have driven by this take-out shack numerous times and are glad we finally stopped by. The lobster rolls are very good. We had a choice of mayo or butter (1 of each, thank you). The stop is clean, clean restroom although a bit rustic, friendly, helpful staff serving a lot of people which is always a good sign. We... More

This roadside stop was a family favorite as we ate 2 out of our 3 Maine lunches at Days. Simple food, well prepared and very fresh. The steamers (clams) were probably our favorite...they melted in your mouth and were not rubbery or chewy like we're accostumed to in South Florida. We also enjoyed the lobster rolls very much as evidenced... More

Maybe it was just having arrived in Maine, maybe it was the gorgeous sunshine and proximity to the ocean, or maybe it was the really tasty fried haddock sandwich, probably all of the above; but this is now one of my 'happy places'. The service was fast, and the price not unreasonable for an amazing lunch. We plan to head... More

We stopped here again after a 3 month hiatus -- and just had lobster rolls this time. The lobster rolls were just OK. I've become more experienced now at what to look for in a good Maine lobster roll, and these had a small amount of lobster compared to others I've had, and had a mayo mix that was nothing... More

Days is a go too as we make our way up to BoothBay Harbor and on the way back. Their food is always fresh, reasonably priced and very tasteful. The standard fare that my husband and I share is a Haddock sandwich, fried clams and a lobster. It's always so peaceful to sit in the back near the water and... More

Nicer location than Fishermens grill but the lobster and crab are not as good. The scallops are heavenly even if the portion is small.

We asked locals where to get a bite to eat for lunch and this is where we were sent. We ordered our food at the counter and sat out back and enjoyed the view. The fried clams were perfectly cooked and tender. The crabmeat roll was filled with sweet crabmeat. We were impressed by the good food and low prices.... More
