We had dinner. Everything was fine. Prices are very reasonable. The place is a little sketchy but if you are looking for a laid back local spot its OK. The Deer Run Tavern would fit in better in a more rural location, maybe a ski town. We have never been in on a night when they have entertainment but we... More

This was the most disappointing meal at a restaurant we've ever had. I believe what made it worse was the supposed "great" reviews that it had received. My sons Southern fried chicken was literally inedible, my fried fish was soggy and one piece tasted suspiciously like hamburger, as though it had fallen on the burger my husband was eating. The... Have a gift certificate for lunch but they are only open on Fridays except for this Friday 6/10 when they were closed. Not thrilled about driving 30 minutes with gas prices as they are. This is the second time we have tried to go there but Grill 233 and Gritty MCDuff's benefited for their poor business sense.

Went there last night and had an absolute blast! Great atmosphere to just let loose and be yourself! Small and cozy! The food is normal bar food BUT the service and fun totally make up for anything they lack in food! We felt like part of the family! I recommend this place for a great, laid-back, fun time!

Had a gift certificate for the tavern. Had a good friend meet us there. First impression was that it was just a bar. We checked out the specials and then we got a menu. Being the only ones there, we had lots of attention. Our food came out and everything was done perfect. YUou could taste that it was all... More

Our server was stoned. The food was awful. And it took us two hours to get the hell out of there. Waste of time and money.

A friend and company wanted to grab lunch here and despite my reservations, I decided to give it another go. They are offering more unique specials - ,conch salad, oysters, jerk wings - main menu is limited but that may not be a bad thing for them as they have a small location. The food was prepared well, tasted good... More

What can I say about this place... A bit out of character for down town Yarmouth, people are nice, food is nothing special, the fried fish sandwhich I ordered was not good at all, as if the fish had been in the bottom of the freezer for a year with some of the worst freezer burn and served anyway. Ok... More

Friendly owners and staff and casual atmosphere. Live music performed occasionally. Good southern and homestyle cooking. Specials change regularly, with some creative and unique dishes. Recommend the all you-can-eat fish fry, and good burgers and potato salad. Great key lime and other homemade pies. Nice to have a local place you can conveniently walk to and relax and have a... Tonight was our first visit to this relatively new dining spot on the upper end of Main St.. The menu shows a heavy southern influence, with items such as crawfish and an etouffee dish. We tried a caesar salad with blackened fish and a fried oyster poorboy. My companion enjoyed the salad, which was good, but not outstanding. I would... More
