As I write this I am sitting on there porch overlook on the river with a great view. Had the lobster calzone (aka the lobster trap) perfect combination of lobster meat, cheese, and spinach with a flaky crust. Wasn't sure bout combo as I usually prefer my lobster to stand on its own but I was blown away by the... More

I am a local and eat at Sarah's Cafe several times a year. I seem to always get their soup bar. It is only $6.00 for a large bowl of soup and a plate (small one) full of sliced breads. You pick the soup (they always have haddock chowder and then two other soups that change). The bread is in... More

Tasty pizza in a family restaurant atmosphere overlooking the bay. The lobster pizza was a wee bit pricey, but it was gluten free and delicious. The meat lovers' pizza was just that, full of meat and satisfied the cave man's cravings.

Sarah's has a very large menu and each time we've tried various items, we feel the best thing to stick to is soup, salad or pizza. Folks not from Philly should not attempt to make a Philly cheesesteak.

We ate there on balcony July 1...had a fantastic lunch. View is great, food was excellent. BLT was best I've ever had, probably due to the fresh bread. Salad was wonderful too. Lots of people across the street at the much-hyped Red's, but this is a better place to relax and enjoy good food. Would guess both of these places... More

The service was amazing and the dinner is very charming. We got the self serve soup and bead to start. Really people come here just for that we were told and I can see why. We will be back for that again. They had 3 huge homemade soups to choose from and then about 9 different kinds of homemade breads... More

Decided to eat here for a late lunch, per recommendation by family members who live nearby. Since I am allergic to lobster, I decided to have the crab cake sandwich. It was amazing. Not a lot of filler and seasoned very nicely. The bread is made on site, so fresh. There were 2 crab cakes on the roll. I really... More

What can I say- we always enjoy lunch here and once again came twice during our week's stay in Maine. The variety is incredible and the sandwiches, soups, pizza and crabcakes are delicious. BUT---one still spends much of the time while waiting on our food simply staring at the dessert cabinets- always trying to match up the name of the... More

We stopped into Sarah's for a lite dinner. Everyone had salads which were very good. I had the seasonal salad with fruit, walnuts, and goat cheese. I asked for a boiled egg to get more protein. The salad was excellent but a little small for price. People around me had a variety of food and it all looked good. They... More

Tiny, over cooked chicken breast on huge bun with burnt bacon and no mayo/dressing...Haddock dry. Whaleboat boring and bland. Pizza was ok.
