My husband and I were in Wisasset the third week of June and had supper at Red's Eats. We waited about 45 minutes in line, but when we got our lobster rolls we felt that it was well worth the wait. The lobster rolls were piled high with delicious sweet lobster on a buttered grilled bun. They really were the... More

This is less of a restaurant and more of a shack, but don't let that discourage you. This was the best lobster roll we tasted in all of ME! It was fresh, delicious, and plentiful. I would definitely recommend going out of the way to Red's Eats.

Red's is about as basic as a takeout restaurant can be. It is a tiny little place with outside eating area on a tiny deck. But the lobster roll is marvelous. They load the roll with so much fresh lobster it is difficult to consume it all. Now it is not cheap but it so worth the wait and the... More

After standing on line for an hour I was expecting something amazing. The lobster roll did not disappoint!!! Huge portion of lobster, very fresh, very sweet. They were out of clams, so we tried the scallops. Sorry to say they had way too much batter/breading. I peeled it all off because the scallops themselves very good. My advice. Just get... More

Waited for over an hour in the blazing hot sun in anticipation... Service is very slow, could use a pick up window to move things along, very friendly cashier though. Unfortunately not worth the wait. Basic fried food, not a ton of flavor and the lobster roll had a huge mound of meat but not really seasoned or very flavorful.... More

My wife and I went to Red's on the afternoon of the 4th - one of the to-do things on her list - she had the lobster roll and I had the crab role - both were good but not worth the money and certainly not worth the wait!

My husband brought me here just to try it once. Yes, the lobster roll was HUGE but super pricey. He got a steak burger and it was very thin and dry piece flat steak, he was not impressed. The kids shared a chicken strips basket that was mostly fries. They all left hungry but me.

My boyfriend and I stopped by after visiting family. We have driven by multiple times in the past, and heard all the rave about Red's, but never had the time to stop. We finally had a chance to and loved it! Parking is available locally, or in a public lot down the street. Red's is cash only. There is an... More

Red's Eats is a very cute little place. We waited in line for about an hour but it was worth it. Everyone in my group decided it was the best lobster roll they had in Maine. It is worth the stop. Also, the staff is very nice. They brought out water, watermelon, and shrimp samples to the people waiting in... More

Everyone says "the best place , the best place " about RED'S EATS , but it is actually a regular pricy place where you can get an expensive lobster roll ( A LOT OF MEAT OK ), that is basically: bread+COLD lobster and THAT'S IT. And large fries, total $30???????????!!!! No thanks, I regret I went there. Nothing special, only... More
