I stop by Red's every time I pass through Wiscasset, and always come away happy. I knew I was in for a long wait this time around (more than an hour), being it was lunchtime in mid-July. Somebody did come around with free samples and water while we waited, which was nice. The lobster rolls are huge, but they don't... More

be advised, this is a road side shack (20'x20') with only outside seating and the line for ordering is usually about an hour. if you plan your visit for late afternoon to evening, the wait is much shorter, 15 minutes on our last visit. Everything made here that I've tried is good from their specialty puff dogs to the lobster... More

Red''s is the "go-to" spot for a fabulous lobster roll (which is evidenced by the long line of customers no matter the time of day!) A gigantic amount of lobster meat in a toasted roll with mayo and melted butter on the side. Many napkins required.

I've been here twice before, but today (which was better than one earlier visit) means I won't be back. Unlike some reviewers my lobster roll was always great, but my bottom line impression is that the family who runs it is just too impressed with themselves ... they seem to think people should be grateful for the chance to eat... If you are a true connoisseur of lobster, this is the place to go. This is the true lobster roll with no "fluff", just great lobster. I have eaten lobster all my life and this is the place for the best lobster rolls .There is a reason this is the "Home of Maine's #1 Lobster Roll". It is well worth... More

My aunt and I passed Reds driving to Camden and knew it must be great bc the line was extremely long so we decided to go there the next day. We waited in line for an hour but for me was well worth the wait, I'd do it again & again. I ordered the lobster roll, crab cake & blueberry... More

A week in Maine = a week of lobster rolls. Red's was the best, hands down. Delicious and generous serving of lobster. Nuff said.

We waited over 45 minutes, outside , to put our order in. We were glad we waited. They walked around with cold water for those of us in line. This is a take out stand with limited seating , outside, in the rear. There are a few tables with umbrellas. The food is FANTASTIC! The lobster roll has nothing added... More

We had Lobster Rolls at Red's last week and they were "over the top" good. Lot's of great Lobster meat in each Roll. This was our third trip to this Lobster Mecca. Line wait was the usual 45 minutes or so. Only suggestion is to improve the chairs in the seating area. My wife fell backwards when one of the... More

Red's Eats is a funny little place in the middle of town. There's no atmosphere whatsoever; if you're looking for that, you're in the wrong place. What you *will* find here is a very fine lobster roll, consisting merely of chunks of lobster (large and small) and bread. There is a lot of fresh, good-quality lobster packed into these lobster...
