A Little Bit of Heaven

Yes it is expensive, the lobster roll was $19.95 today, but varies depending on the price of lobster. However, there had to be at least three, if not more, lobsters worth of meat in each roll. It is basic, lobster stuffed into a toasted bun with butter on the side, but it was pure bliss. We hit... read more

This is what I'd always read about with northern Maine food. Lobsta out of this world. Line around the block but soooooo worth it!!

Tried the fried clams based on a recent TA review. Delicious. Definitely heads & shoulders above Woodman's & the Clam Box & some of the best I've ever had. Biggest drawback at Red's is the long line altho staff came with ice water & sample of blueberry milk shake to make wait more bearable.

We went on our way home from vacation- My hubby waited for an hour for the Lobster Roll. It is quite large and the Lobster is soooo fresh. They offer melted butter or mayo on the side so you can make it the way you want it- I find I don't need either it is yummy without either. The fries... More

We have driven through Wiscasset at least 50 times over the years and always promise ourselves if the line at Red's isn't too ridiculously long that we would stop. Last night there was no line! We stopped. We ordered. We ate the best dang lobster roll in the world. They don't post the price of it other than to say... More

Saw this place on the Travel Channel and decided to add it to our Maine itinerary. A little out of our way, but well worth the trip. They advertise a pound of lobster in every roll and it is the truth. By far the best lobster roll we ever had! The only drawback is the wait in line which does... More

We took a quick trip up to the area. Love Red's Lobster roll. Driving by we saw a huge , very long line, most likely more than an hour. So drove and had a lobster roll at another place.. Lunch. Supper was another Lobster roll at another place. Next day heading out of town, stopped at Red's. Not a sole... More

Love REDS!!!!! Haven't been here in years- the lobster roll was as good as I remember and worth the wait. Luckily we got here about 11:10am and had our food before 12. Clam bellies are amazing and you really can't beat a lobster roll with that much meat!

Every review you read says that Red's Eats is classic Maine and not to be missed. We have to agree. Best Lobster Roll we had in Maine.

Yes, it is no trick photography, the lobster roll is really that big. More than one lobster in each roll. The blueberry cake is also worth sharing if you have room! Plan on a wait on line, BUT well worth it!
