We ordered an ICE tea and a water. The tea had like 4 ice cubes and the water had zero. I ordered a waffle with strawberries. The middle of the waffle was cold and soggy. Home fries were very dry and kind of rancid....my girlfriend ordered miss wisscasset special. Eggs were ordered over easy, however they were more like over... More

It's been years since I've eaten at the Wiss. Diner, it was pretty typical of a diner breakfast. Eggs were moist ham was good home fries a little bland but good. Coffee was fresh and the service was good and fast. Prices were good as well. Overall a good experience.

After leaving a Wiscasset train ride, my wife and I headed south along US 1. Looking for something different to eat for lunch, we saw the Miss Wiscasset Diner along the road. As we were walking in a server was taking a large platter outside to a customer. We inquired about the platter and found out it contained haddock, shrimp,... More

I imagine most people drive by here as they go to or from Boothbay Harbor and other destinations. It's a great place to stop for breakfast/lunch/snack. The diner boasts many "home-made" dishes--including home-made bread! I had their "home-made" blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup (a very difficult item to find in diners, in general). Delicious! Nothing fancy here (as in... More

Ok, we are New Yorkers and therefore, diner food snobs. How amazing for us to find the best darn omelets on the East Coast in Wicasset, Maine. They were the lobster of Omelets---huge, fresh, beyond scrumptious. And the home made bread...to die for. The owner served us and she was as welcoming as could be. I want to move this... More

Breakfast skillet was delicious and big enough to share. Service was prompt and pleasant. Definitely would return.

A simple egg and toast breakfast is a delight when coupled with pleasant staff and interesting surroundings. We have seen this place with different owners through the years and this operator is doing a fine job. Thanks!

Homemade breads, homemade corned beef hash, large portions! Breakfast special with meat and coffee for $7! Yikes! I guess if I rated it against the Ritz I could pick it apart. But, it is an old roadside diner just off rte 1 recently taken over by new owners. There are no tablecloths, pepper grinders, or crystal. Yes, you get one... More

Typical of the area in friendly, breakfast-lunch diners. Everything about it is just OK. Can be crowded, and they are always understaffed. The wait for nothing special makes it not #1.

We heard that this place was under new management, so we decided to try it again. What a disaster. I ordered a toasted English Muffin, bacon and eggs over medium to hard. The plate arrived. I immediately sent the English Muffin back to be toasted (it was warm, but no signs of toast). I then noticed the eggs that resembled... More
