We had full intentions of going to the well known competitors right across the street but did not want to wait the hour in line. Walked over and checked out the menu, looked just as good. I had the lobster roll which had large whole pieces of claw and tail, good size for the price. We also had the fish... More

Nice place to get lunch, Spragues is right on the Creamery Pier in Wiscasset so the view is good and there's a nice breeze. Their haddock sandwich is good sized and reasonably priced. The best drink is their home made lemonade - best I've had.

Best Lobster Roll in Maine. Don't waste your time waiting at the famous place across the street, these blow them away. Cash only with some parking on site. Plenty of seating, nothing fancy just good food.

My husband and I went here on Sunday, June 8th for the first time and it will be our last! It started with the horrible attitude of the person taking our order. I ordered a crab meat roll and fries and then my husband ordered the same thing. After he ordered, she said they were all out of crab meat.... More

We stopped here because Red's had not opened yet, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the lobster and clam rolls. They also offer home made iced tea, which is a plus if you're not into the usual range of sodas, etc. Lots of tables for outdoor dining, and great view. I can't compare the food to Red's because... Rather than wait for the hyped lobster rolls at Reds we decided to give Sprague's a try. The young lady was pleasant but it was obvious she would rather be somewhere else. They were out of a lot of menu items which left a very limited choice and we were disappointed with the food we got which warm, not hot,... More

We found Sprauges by accident. Red's gets all the press but the line is so long sometimes, so we went to Sprauges. The Lobster of course is great, the corn sweet, the clam fritters are absolutely fantastic!!! Now it is our "must visit" places whenever we go to Maine. It is the place we miss most, when we are not... More

The best lobster in Maine is served across Rt. 1 at famous Red's Eats. Srague's is less expensive, but don't be tempted to miss the best at Red's

I went here because there wasn't a line and it was a pretty summer day. There's a large deck with tables for outside dining on the Sheepscot River. The food was average. Met some nice people. I would probably go back.

It's a good meaty lobster roll and a great alternative to waiting on the ridiculous line for Red's. We each had 1 roll and share another one. It lacks the "ambiance" of Red's but the view is just as nice and the food equally as good.
