Great lobster roll, awesome raspberry lemonade! Lobster roll lived up to its expectation of a lobster and then some... Finished on a toasted roll and real melted butter. Delicious! As for the wait it was only about 15-20 mins on a Wednesday afternoon. The line at Reds across the street was at least an hour wait and in my opinion... More

We went here on a tip from our resort.. It is much less crowded than Red's which is on the opposite corner, and much more scenic. Tons of picnic tables and the best lobster rolls EVER! For what I thought was reasonable ($16 I think) they serve the entire lobster in a roll with no mayo.. just butter on the... More

Driving through Wiscasset, had our sights on dining at Reds because of all the fab reviews I've read. When we arrived, there was a huge line at Reds that we stood in for about 15 min that didn't move. I finally went across the st to check out Spragues and see if they would do a lobster roll w/ butter... More

Heading north with family and looking for something quick, we stopped here for lobster rolls, thinking that with just a short little line we would have our food quickly. However, after ordering we proceeded to wait 20-25 minutes before our number was called. Granted it was a Saturday and the pier was busy, but I've been to fine dining establishments... More

We had full intentions of going to the well known competitors right across the street but did not want to wait the hour in line. Walked over and checked out the menu, looked just as good. I had the lobster roll which had large whole pieces of claw and tail, good size for the price. We also had the fish... More

Nice place to get lunch, Spragues is right on the Creamery Pier in Wiscasset so the view is good and there's a nice breeze. Their haddock sandwich is good sized and reasonably priced. The best drink is their home made lemonade - best I've had.

Best Lobster Roll in Maine. Don't waste your time waiting at the famous place across the street, these blow them away. Cash only with some parking on site. Plenty of seating, nothing fancy just good food.

My husband and I went here on Sunday, June 8th for the first time and it will be our last! It started with the horrible attitude of the person taking our order. I ordered a crab meat roll and fries and then my husband ordered the same thing. After he ordered, she said they were all out of crab meat.... More

We stopped here because Red's had not opened yet, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the lobster and clam rolls. They also offer home made iced tea, which is a plus if you're not into the usual range of sodas, etc. Lots of tables for outdoor dining, and great view. I can't compare the food to Red's because... Rather than wait for the hyped lobster rolls at Reds we decided to give Sprague's a try. The young lady was pleasant but it was obvious she would rather be somewhere else. They were out of a lot of menu items which left a very limited choice and we were disappointed with the food we got which warm, not hot,... More
