Stopped in Wiscasset on way to Mount Desert Island to do a little shopping in this quaint town. Stumbled on this little cafe with homemade goodies and sandwiches. Everything was very tasty and the staff extremely friendly. Good sampling of local news papers on the picnic style table where we ate. Attached wine shop was well stocked and seemed to... More

YUM! Best cinnamon muffins ever! Great for coffee in the morning--wish it opened earlier than 8am! Wish they had fresh cut fruit to go with our scones, blueberry crumb cake, and cinnamon muffin!

We happened upon this little spot during a stay in Wiscasset . Great choices of fresh baked goods in the morning to compliment a tea or coffee . Seems like a spot that appeals to both tourists as well as locals . It's great they have a community table to sit around . Enjoyed that very much . The staff... More

I have stumbled upon this place by a chance while looking for the Red's Eats place. I was super pleasantly surprised by their selection of breads - all European inspired crusty with soft and hollow inn. I have been in pursue of the perfect bread since I've moved to New Brunswick, Canada about 9 years ago. There seems not much... More

I got a loaf of bread to take home a turtle and a cup of white gazpacho soup. The soup was nice made of grapes almonds cilantro and a bunch of other stuff. Very nice cold soup. The turtle is huge I am still eating it.

Treats is a wonderful local find in Wiscasset. We have driven through the town many times over the years, but never stopped in until we stayed in the town for a couple of days. The signage does not jump out at you and that is a shame because we love it. The pastries are amazing. Best Blueberry Muffin I have... More

Right on the main drag thru town, which is quite interesting, only about 1-2 blocks long but filled with plenty to see. We popped In to look around but stayed for coffee and pastry. It is very interesting store/bakery. A good selection of groceries, cheese, wines and coffee shop with fresh baked goods. Try the scones, but lots more goodies... More

Just wanted to say thanks to the nice lady that made me a perfect whole milk maple latte this morning ( July 4th). It was supurb. Quaint store, interesting baked goods. The bread pudding had no shortage of flavour and was really moist. They had an interesting assortment of wines as well next door.

I enjoy browsing their eclectic collection of good wines. Their cheese selection is outstanding, and it's hard to resist a lot of impulse shopping (so I don't!). Fresh-baked breads are wonderful - I especially like their baguettes, and am often tempted by pastries. Coffee at the coffee bar is superb, and service is friendly and efficient. It's a great place... More
