If you live anywhere in the area you have most likely eaten at Big G's. I've only had one person I know say that they didn't like the place and it was because they though the sandwiches were too big! Over the years they have expanded their menu greatly but thankfully have not strayed from what they have become famous... More

Big G is the pace to be in Winslow. HUGE sandwiches. I had the BLT, which came on a small tray, and filled it. Excellent . I made the wrong choice in getting untoasted white bread, but the food was good, cheap, and fast.

I have been here many times and never had a complaint. The sandwiches are HUGE and can be made to order. I love their tuna and roast beef. It takes two days to finish one sandwich...no kidding. If you want a sandwich you'll never forget, then Big G's is the place to go!

If you want an awesome sandwich you have to go to Big G's. We have never been there when it is not super busy. The line moves very quickly and the wait for your food is short. There is an incredible variety of sandwiches to choose from. Today was the first time we went to Big G's for breakfast and... More

Sandwich making area is clean and okay but the dining area can get pretty messy from customers eating. There is no table service to speak of. They are too busy making sandwiches and plates so customers really have to clean the tables themselves. I found that a bit gross so we always take our sandwiches to go.

Instead of piling the meat high like a true deli would, Big G's lets the meat spread out. I don't want the marketing confusion of a monumentally expansive sandwich. I just want a typical New York styled deli sandwich. My "hot" pastrami was cool in the middle. I asked for no pickle, but I got one any way. Disappointing experience.

First: the sandwiches here are BIG. Let that sink in. First time I went in, not knowing better, I ordered a "whole" sandwich. What I got was a 2lbs behemoth of bread and fillings that I could barely get my mouth around. A great deli, with many options and combinations to choose from. Reasonably priced, especially given the portions.

Big G's has been a staple in this area for years. Always a great value and as most of these reviews will vouch for the enormous size of the portions. It's not just volume on a plate but they strive to give you a quality meal. The sandwiches are as imaginative as they are delicious. If you're in the area,... More

This is a must stop if you are in the area of Winslow Maine. Though you may be thinking it is just a deli, stop right there. This is no ordinary deli, this is a superhero deli. I ordered the "Miles Standwich," which is like Thanksgiving Day wrapped up in a sandwich. The half order provided me with two meals.... More

I grew up since the 80's in Winslow and moved in 2003...lived at Big G's...while food prices have gone up our family of 4A and a infant was $40 OUCH! But it was still worth it and I was excited to bring my family there. The lady with the black short hair has TO GO! She was rude and short... More
