The atmosphere is casual but this restaurant is big on size of portion. I kid you not! One sandwich is equal to four! Oh, and the bread is homemade. NICE!

We are regular patrons of this restaurant when in the Waterville area, and the fried haddock (in a great tasting batter) is outstanding! It looked like we had an entire half of a fish (huge one!) that covered the large "basket" it came in. And the fries?? Wow...so many of them, and good too! The basket dinners, by the way,... More

If a sandwich is ordered hot, but delivered warm, it isn't being ordered in a self-respecting sandwich shop. A deli is a restaurant which can deliver a hot sandwich. Big G's is not a deli.

As the name would suggest everything is bigger at Big G'S!! The sandwich I got was enough for 2 huge meals, the flavor was great and the price was great. One thing to note they do not take credit or debit cards but do have an ATM inside.

If you live anywhere in the area you have most likely eaten at Big G's. I've only had one person I know say that they didn't like the place and it was because they though the sandwiches were too big! Over the years they have expanded their menu greatly but thankfully have not strayed from what they have become famous... More

Big G is the pace to be in Winslow. HUGE sandwiches. I had the BLT, which came on a small tray, and filled it. Excellent . I made the wrong choice in getting untoasted white bread, but the food was good, cheap, and fast.

I have been here many times and never had a complaint. The sandwiches are HUGE and can be made to order. I love their tuna and roast beef. It takes two days to finish one sandwich...no kidding. If you want a sandwich you'll never forget, then Big G's is the place to go!

If you want an awesome sandwich you have to go to Big G's. We have never been there when it is not super busy. The line moves very quickly and the wait for your food is short. There is an incredible variety of sandwiches to choose from. Today was the first time we went to Big G's for breakfast and... More

Sandwich making area is clean and okay but the dining area can get pretty messy from customers eating. There is no table service to speak of. They are too busy making sandwiches and plates so customers really have to clean the tables themselves. I found that a bit gross so we always take our sandwiches to go.

Instead of piling the meat high like a true deli would, Big G's lets the meat spread out. I don't want the marketing confusion of a monumentally expansive sandwich. I just want a typical New York styled deli sandwich. My "hot" pastrami was cool in the middle. I asked for no pickle, but I got one any way. Disappointing experience.
