What is a gastro pub?” Gastronomy is the study of preparing and consuming food. A pub is a neighborhood spot for affordable food and good times. When you combine the two you get a neighborhood spot with a focus on food prepared from scratch with fresh ingredients.

Reliable above average pub food and good brunch

I've never had a bad meal here and the menu changes enough to keep you interested if you are a regular. The homemade doughnuts at Sunday brunch are worth trying. Cocktails are well done. Main drawback for me is the noise level, especially on weekends, because the place is small, has wooden floors... read more

We had a 9 AM rez for the 6 of us. We arrived and were promptly seated. They open at 9 and I highly recommend getting there when they open and before the place gets packed. At 10 it was so loud I couldn't hear what the couple at the end of our table was saying! That said - everything... More

Went here today for brunch, got a booth table by the window which was nice, waitress was very friendly and polite, the food was delicious and we finished off with a handmade donut each was very yummy, would definitely recommend and keep up the good service

We really enjoyed the server...sweet, kind & nice. The food didn't match the prices although it was good and I would go back. I will just be smarted about what I order.... Had the fried avocado appetizer which was interesting and tasty. Yummy drinks.

I asked for coffee to start and it was barely warm. I should have sent it back because I noticed when I got home that I paid $3 for it!! It's always a treat for me to see Eggs Florentine on a menu. Most restaurants in Maine only offer Eggs Benedict. The Florentine was delicious and presented beautifully. I would... More

I ordered one of their omelets, but we split one of their doughnuts to start off. The food was great and the restaurant had a good atmosphere. Make a reservation! Even with one, we had to wait about 10 minutes to get seated beyond the reservation time. It can get VERY busy here. But good places get busy, so you... More

Just ok. Food is good, drinks are good, but be ready to spend. Westbrook isn't Portland. Yet. Dons Lunch will beat their burger hands down.

Had never been to this restaurant before, but met friends there for dinner. My friends had been coming there a lot, and loved it. The service was great, found the prices expensive, but if food was great then price would be ok. I ordered the chicken kabob, was very surprised at the portion size when it came out. When it... This place is a little hard to find but well worth the effort . It's a pub type atmosphere and the food was delicious. We plan to go there again soon.
