Billy's has been here for years and always has good solid food at market prices. The view can't be beat. Parking can be an issue unless u go early. Have never had a bad meal here in the 10 plus years we've visited

First day in Maine we ate here and had a wonderful seafood meal. The service was excellent and we had a great view of the marshes with the tide coming in. Highly recommend!

Having traveled to Wells Beach for 20 years, we make this a stop every time we come to Wells. It is our family tradition to start our vacation here. Now with the kids grown, we get to come and sit at the very spacious and friendly bar. You must sit at the bar when bartender Stephanie B. is on duty.... More

We took our family here for dinner and were frankly disappointed with our experience. The Shore Dinner (lobster, et al) was good, but the fish & chips were overcooked, as was the baked stuffed shrimp. Scallops were average. For the price, we expected better quality food. Service was excellent, however.

Food was okay but we always love seeing the same waitresses every year. They are always pleasant and make time for our family. The lobster mac and cheese is always delicious.

This place does have the best clam chowder. I've had plenty but like Billy's. The chowder isn't as thick as some more on brothy side, full pieces of clams and very very good. Some chowders are very thick and I think this takes away from the overall soap. Billy's does it perfect. Can't wait to go back for more. The... More

I've eaten at Billy's at least a dozen times over the last 20 years and have always enjoyed myself. However on my most recent visit I was stunned to notice a noticeable price increase and a decrease in the quality of the food. The food used to be unbeatable; but frankly, now, for the price it's not worth it anymore.... More

My husband and I have just returned from a week at Well's Maine. We have vacationed there for a week every year but last year since we moved to Upstate NY last April (2013) and missed our trip to Wells and to Billy's. We love NY but you just cannot get good seafood here and believe me we have tried.... More
