Great family atmosphere, the kids love it

We try to visit Billy's when ever we are in the area, my kids love to go. They enjoy the fresh sea food and the lobster chowder, Billy's has great staff and they are very interactive with the customers. I have never had a bad meal at Billy's or a problem with the Staff, it is a great local spot... read more

Enjoyed a meal walking back from Wells Beach. Wonderful lobster chowder full of lobster chunks in a delicious milk base. Served a large portion of vege of the day, green beans perfectly cooked. My husband loved the fish tacos with his locally brewed beer. Very attentive waitress and hostess.

We always seem to find time in our weekend trips for the Chowder House and the fabulous views. This time it felt even better, in thanks to the warm smile from the bartender Nikki. She just seemed to make all your problems go away. The soup was outstanding....and the brews will keep us coming back for more!!

We have been to Billy's over the years but have gotten out of the habit. We realized it is one of the places in the area for my husband's favorite, fried oysters. They did not disappoint!! I was surprised how reasonable the cost. They come with fires and coleslaw but he was able to switch for a baked potato which... More

This restaurant has a very nice rustic seaside atmosphere with ocean/nautical décor and nice marsh views. The food is good and oysters are 'Buck a Shuck' on Wednesdays. But, if you go for lunch you will likely see the owners eating at the bar. You will know who they are. They will be the ones with the attitude, acting like... More

THE chowder and lobster are very good. They have a special lunch price, that makes the lobster a good value! Service was good and lcation was close ot where we were staying so we stopped in a couple of times.

I use to head down the Mile Road as a teenager to stop at the little lobster shack about half way down on the left. Since then, Billy's has grown into a full service eatery with a great personality and charm all it's own. Every time we come to the Wells area, we make it a point to time our... More

Our once a month brother's gathering brought us here after work last week. During happy hour the beves are 1/2 off. We took a high top in the lounge and ordered crab rolls and a bowl of Lobstah stew! A great place to casually enjoy the company of family! A great place among locals!

If you get nothing else, get the clam chowder. Full belly clams really make this light bodied chowder. Fried calamari is great there, very light breading. Beer selection is a solid C- however.

We ate here twice this weekend. Once for lunch and then dinner the next night. The staff here is awesome, very good at what they do. Although this is a very touristy area, this seems to have a lot of local customers. The Hidden Cove Beer is worth a taste.
