And skip Mike's Clam Shack. Sorry to pick favorites, but Billy's chowder (clam or seafood) is authentic, fresh, and the best I've had in the area. NOT thick and flour-y. Great fresh steamers tossed in, too! Mike's is JUST so sad and tastes like a can. Billy's onion rings, and fresh chips at the bar hit that "salty" spot, and... More

Avoid this dish. I mean stay away. It cost $17.00 for a bowl of nothing. Billy should be ashamed to rip off customers with this highly over priced bowl of milk and a few scraps of fish. Never again....

The clam chowder at Billy's is fabulous....loaded with whole clams, the broth is milky and buttery and yet not too rich. I also had a half/half seafood plate with scallops and clams, served with french fries and slaw...the scallops were EXCELLENT, the clams were very good and the serving size was significant. I look forward to going back to Billy's... More

We've been enjoying Billy's for too many years to count! It was always our parents' first choice when we asked where we should go for lunch or dinner. We are from CT and take a round about route to our summer home in West Newfield, Maine just to enjoy Billy's. This visit we had the sword fish special and a... More

Great view, great beer, even better chowder. it's a real milk based chowder with whole steamers, unlike most places these days where you can stand a spoon up in your chowder, this is plain "wrong" keep up the good work BCH!

We went to Billy's on 3/9/2014 to watch the Bruins game, have a few appetizers/awsum chowder. Our bartender was Stephanie " B" she helped us pick out out a few great cocktails and draft beers. Nice view of the water and nice win for the Bruins.

My husband and I stopped into Billy’s for dinner one Wednesday evening. We were seated in the lounge area that overlooks the marsh. We were promptly greeted by our waitress, Steffa who asked if we had a rewards card and if not would we like one? We said sure and then were told it cost ten dollars, she’d get the... More

Always has a crowd so we decided to try, felt the food was average nothing to get excited about, average prices for seafood.
