A Trip Down Memory Lane “Congdon’s”

If you’re anything like me, you get to this point of the winter season and a break from the daily grind is exactly what you need. And, if you can’t afford to fly to a warmer climate, just getting out of town is the next best thing. For my wife and I that meant slipping over the border into Maine.... read more

The line was a bit long and my brother wanted to leave, but I am so glad we didn't! We purchased a doughnut from the walk up counter and ate that while we waited for a sit-down table. I had a blueberry fritter which was delicious, but my boyfriend and brother had each had a honey dip doughnut. I assumed... More

We took the family (of 4) out to breakfast here a few days ago on a weekday. It was an above average experience for a breakfast diner/restaurant. The place was clean and friendly - our food was above average and came warm and relatively quickly. I'd like to note, this was one of the more expensive breakfast meals I've paid... More

Eggs Benedict was $12.99. The quality of food was meh. The coffee horrible... More

Once you try these fresh baked doughnuts you'll forget all about Dunkin Donuts! We come back here year after year and it's consistently good. Expect long lines on the weekends in the summer.

Had the best and biggest coffee roll ever! Didn't even eat it until the next day and it was still so fresh and delicious!

Very good breakfast. Fantastic service. Delicious food!!! Get an order of butter crunch doughnut holes. They are fantastic. Reasonably priced. Very crowded in the summer. Get there before 8am or after 10am. This is where the locals go.

We walked here several times and I had the best plain doughnuts in a long time. They also serve breakfast and usually had a line. Friendly service and very good breakfast treats. Choclate and Rasberry and filled doughnut also great.
