Always a warm and friendly place to eat. They always have great specials along their regular menu. The wait staff is always friendly and will ask any questions you might have. The food is delicious and always delivered fast and hot. I love the pumpernickle bread and aways take an extra loaf home. Great place to eat.

No other place in the area compares. The Doughnuts are insanely good: Apple Fritters and the famous Maple Cream are what you need. Their Benedicts are really good too. Only bad thing is the prices are higher than they need to me but, it's well worth it.

Congdon's been around since 1955. If you love doughnuts visit and you'll see why. So many choices ... so little time. In Summer there is always a line and often they run out of my favorite doughnuts. I've been there for breakfast many times. Always friendly service and good value food. Again in season you will have to wait.

I am not a donut person but would not miss a weekend in Maine without getting Congdon;s donuts. It used to be honey dipped but our waitress gave us a great tip on keeping donuts in the refrigerator and next day beep them for 10-12 seconds. I do this with their lemon donuts and yum they are so good and... More

Family loves the donuts. A definite must stop for those that love donuts. (And I'm not much of a donut lover!) Great breakfast too.

Best handmade donuts I've ever had, hands down. And I HATE donuts. Didn't want to try these until a coworker brought some in and OMG YUM!

Great breakfasts, giant whoopie pies, lots of doughnut varieties. The honey buns are outstanding. We never skip Congdons!

Best donuts I have ever put in my yawn hole. The lines go out the door on Sunday morning, and for good reason. I especially love their apple fritters.

It just was over hyped, so maybe we went in with too high expectations. The food was really greasy and cold, we were seated directly under a loud air conditioner, and it was very expensive. The waitress was very nice and apologized for the terrible food, so at least she made it worth leaving a tip. Sadly, we won't be... More

The breakfast was delicious and filling and the doughnuts were fantastic. The maple cream was great. The wait wasn't long, we will be back.
