First timers- All timers. We went our two kids (2 and 4) and my wife and I. The place was packed (25 minutes wait) - The wait time is the only reason I rated 4 of 5. The breakfast was great, taking into account is eggs, bacon, toasts and pancakes. My kids took the whole pancake and omelettes. The doughnuts... More

I would say that these were one of the best donuts I have had and not badly priced either. They offer quit a variety of donuts, muffins, and coffee. We didn't eat in the restaurant but did eat plenty of their donuts the week we were there and definitely can't wait to go back next year. Also if you sign... More

Favorite breakfast spot in New England. Staff is so friendly! Never had anything on the menu that wasn't top quality. The donuts are so delicious! My favorite is the Maple Cream! Sometimes the dough is still warm and the cream is so white and fluffy and it is topped with a delicious maple frosting. It is one of my favorite... More

Started in 1955 this place is an institution. Service is outstanding and friendly. All baked goods are made fresh daily. Donuts are what Congdons is noted for. Place was mobbed with lines standing out the door. Friendly young adults take your order. We had the apple fritters and blueberry fritters on a recommendation from someone standing in line. Real fruit... More

Gave us a good start to the day but nothing outstanding. Portions almost too big and sweet dishes really sweet so watch out.... Maple syrup not needed as addition but staff are nice enough to warn you.

This place is always super busy, but so worth the wait. You have to go early!! The lines are sometimes out the door, but you will be mesmerized by the amazing choices.. Breakfast is also very good!!!

I am not sure what more I can say. I love this place! Try the blueberry or apple fritter doughnut ( or maybe don't so there is more for me). Went here twice on a week long vacation and even if there is a long line it is worth the wait. Also, they do a sit down breakfast ( if... More

Most of the time, I just get the doughnuts on the way to someplace else. They are fresh and delicious! You will always wish you had gotten more! My friend and I ate breakfast in the restaurant 2 years ago and it was very good. I warn you, they are crazy busy!! That says a lot!
