We have ate at this restaurant many many times, and every time it is just wonderful, the food, service and atmosphere. The raspberry cheese filled croissant is definitely my favorite

Found this restaurant on tripadviser before a flight to Manchester N.H.; heading to central Maine. It was too early for the usual Portland or Freeport stops but decided to get off I95 and find Congdon's. Easy on and off the highway and crowded with a waiting line to get into the restaurant. However we noticed some empty seats at the... More

I just love the doughnuts, it doesn't matter which flavor, they're all wonderful. The Eggs Benedict with the homemade corn beef hash is my favorite breakfast item, and you can get breakfast all day long. Breakfast for lunch is great!!! Go early and enjoy, or go late, just go you won't be disappointed.

Congdon's donuts are like eating your old family recipes! Fresh all day long, filled to the brim, airy and light and ooooh so yummy! The lines are long, so get there as early possible, have patience, but it's a must stop place if you're visiting the Wells, Maine area. I've driven three hours just get these donuts before!

My boyfriend and I stayed in Wells last weekend and went to Congdon Doughnuts on a recommendation. We did get there late in the morning, but it was so busy that we couldn't find a parking spot (in a large lot at that). We had planned on eating in their restaurant, but upon seeing the line to the door we... More

Been stopping at Congdon's for years with our grandchildren. Now in our tenth year of enjoying! The size of the donuts have stayed relatively the same throughout the years. Pricing us also very fair considering the quality product and inflationary spiral. Congdon's is unlike many other Wells' establishments which raised their prices and lowered the quality. Give it a try... More

I work in a made from scratch bakery and I think I know a good doughnut when I eat one, Congdon's Doughnuts is one of those places. Of course I have only tried the doughnuts, my son in law had one of their cinnamon buns and he really liked it. It looked delicious. It's a must stop for us every... More

As a dedicated fan of this place i never got past the doughnut area. But when i went in for breakfast i got a great combo of doughnut holes and a full breakfast in one. I highly recommend. We all left satisfied

You won't be alone...this is the place for a "home-style" breakfast...good menu choices and service. The wait is well worth enduring because the donuts and food keeps me returning when in the area.

We loved the ambience and the doughnuts at Congdon's. The booths are small and everything feels family-friendly and homey. The breakfast food was not great, though. The bacon was underdone and the grease tasted funny. The potatoes were nice and crispy, but the eggs had the same funny grease taste. Maybe we just caught it on a bad day, because... More
