Always excellent!

My family has been going to Joshua's since it opened over 10 years ago and we have never had a bad meal. We love eating on the porch and Barbara, Joshua's mother, is a friendly and accommodating hostess. First time to Joshua's, but it won't be the last. I had the lamb which was incredibly tasty. Five lamb chops stuffed with mushrooms and coated in a mustard and Panko seasoning, so good. The service is a little slow, but it's worth the wait. Fudge pie with caramel ice cream was decadent! The atmosphere is casually elegant. The menu... More

We went there to celebrate a birthday! From the moment we stepped in the door we were treated like a royal party! Drinks were great, dinner was superb for each of the 4 of us. They make their own ice cream - so needless to say dessert was yummy! We'll be back for sure.

We have been going to Joshua's for several years now and it is one of our favorite restaurants! The wait staff are friendly and professional, the owners are always around and very nice to talk to and the food is consistently delicious!

Delicious food and good service in a historic old building. Excellent for special occasions. The duck was superb.

As good as we remembered from last year. Ate there last night and on our way for tonight. Perhaps one of the best restaurants we foodies have ever eaten in. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, but we especially recommend the Haddock. It will be difficulty for us not to order it again tonight. Oh, and try... More

My wife and I first dined at Joshua’s about 10 years ago, soon after it first opened. That was a remarkable and highly memorable experience. Coming from three states away, last night presented us with our third opportunity to dine at this fine establishment. What can I say? Lightning can strike not only twice but every time at Joshua’s! We... More

Joshua's was recommended to us for our anniversary dinner. Limited menu but they also have specials and there is enough choice to make everyone happy. We got the crab cakes and the mushrooms for appetizers. both were phenomenal. I had the haddock ....Normally I'd go with one of the specials but I was not disappointed in my choice. The haddock... The menu is not overly long, but the food and specials were delicious. I started with the mushroom appetizer and it was like nothing I had ever had. My meal was the swordfish special which I substituted mushroom risotto for the mashed potato. The fresh vegetable side was so fresh and cooked perfectly al dente. They make their own breads... More

We arrived early for our reservation so we decided to sit at the bar and have dinner. What a great choice. We got the chance to meet Chis, the director of all things alcohol. First, the blood orange martini was just right, not too tart not too sweet baby bear. We could not decide on a bottle of wine to... More
