My sig other and I ware there last night for dinner and this was one of the top restaurants I've been to in the Ogunquit/Wells area. We had an 815p reservation and we were seated promptly. Our waitress was very attentive and knowledge of the menu and wines. We each started with a martini along with the spinach salad and... More

We were on vacation. Went to Joshua's (had made reservations) the food and drink was amazing. The beet salad was delicious and lightly dressed. I had a shrimp appetizer for my meal so so good. My boyfriend got the recommended lobster pie can't say enough, sweet meat, creamy and buttery crust. The best was my after dinner fresh raspberry martini... More

Since we have a young child at home, getting to go to a restaurant like Joshua's is a real treat. It is not a restaurant for young children and the menu does not cater to them at all. Although I suspect that my child would like some of the items on the menu. But having a 'grown up' restaurant is... More

Always been a favorite restaurant of mine for years. We always go here for special occasions. Strongly suggest getting reservations as it is nearly impossible to get in here without them. All of the food I have ever gotten here has been delicious especially the steaks there. Everything is flavorful and the veggies that come with some of the meals... More

. . . I am just not buying all the hype or drinking Joshua's Kool-Aid (or their raspberry cosmo). We found the food to be rather bland and just a little boring. No spice, no "wow!" My wife had the salmon and I had the lobster pie special. In both cases the evaluation was "just OK." Upon analysis we felt... More

I am a local and have been to Joshua's several times, usually for special occasions, and the food is always spectacular! Fresh, organic produce, home made breads, desserts and great meat and seafood. We recently went for our 30th wedding anniversary and the raspberry cosmos were outstanding and they were made with fresh raspberries. If you have room for dessert,... More

Went to Joshua's on Sunday evening August 17th for our anniversary. This was our first time there. One of the best meals that we have ever had. We started with the special drink of the evening, raspberry cosmos WOW. For app I had a Caesar and my wife had some type of spinach salad. All of the vegs are home grown... More

Four of us had a great meal here. My haddock was excellent and the lamb rack was the best our friend has ever had. However it was pricey. Drink specials were interesting. Service was among the best. It offered a relaxing environment. We will be back.

Great find in Wells! Beautiful atmosphere in a old converted house; the appetizer (sauteed mushrooms with cheese) was outstanding. The haddock entree even better with amazingly fresh vegetables. Reasonably priced also. We will be back!

If you are a fan of food that tastes amazing then this is probably the place for you! We love just about everything about Joshua's! It is in an old colonial home, so there are several dining areas in smaller rooms, so it feels very intimate. Everything is locally grown and caught, and you can certainly taste the difference! I...
