Saturday night spontaneity was rewarded by a truly delicious meal, albeit in the bar, as the dining rooms were filled by folks with reservations. Our waiter was prompt, attentive, and certainly aimed to please. The molasses bread was so tasty, but not at all heavy. We shared a bowl of french onion soup, which was very light and a bit... More

Our third visit to Joshua's may be our last. Yes, the food was great and wonderful in all aspects, but the service was lackadaisical. Our waitress did not appear to like her job. Yes, it was mid week in the dead of winter and everyone is tired of the snow and cold, but in our previous visits to Joshua's we... More

Incredible food & presentation in a comfortable setting! Have had the pleasure to return to Joshua's on a weekend getaway on several occasions. The 1st was a surprise; the 2nd, an affirmation of how great the food is; the last was just as great as the previous experiences!

This place is the best fine dining in town. Very fresh meals and excellent drinks. Try the blood orange cosmo when it is in season.

From the initial greeting, to the delicious bread basket, blood orange Cosmo made with REAL fruit juice, the tenderloin appetizer to the mouth watering entrée and to end with dessert to die for. Do I need to say more. This establishment surpassed all my expectations. Filet cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes tasted like my moms (whose no longer... More

My wife and I try to frequent Joshua's restaurant at least on a monthly basis; it is our "go-to" restaurant and has been for years. They always have some superb "specials" in addition to a menu which will have something to please everyone, vegans included. Joshua is the owner/chef and is always on site, his parents are usually there to... More

Joshua's is about 20 minutes from Kennebunkport and easy to find on the Post Road. We found the food farm fresh and the chef creative. We were there in the winter and had the feeling that the staff really appreciated us. The waitress appeared happy to be working there and touted the chef. The father of the chef, Mort, gave... More

We live 12 miles south of Joshua's and enjoyed many fine meals there in the past. For the past few years, I guess we forgot about heading north for dinner. We've been to Joshua's twice within the past 2 months and both times the food and service has been excellent. the restaurant is particularly pretty in winter with twinkling lights... More
