Landmark diner

This is a landmark that our family has been visiting for years. It is a true diner--casual, noisy, crowded but tasty! Breakfast all day and tons of fresh seafood options, any way you like it. If you want fancy, this is not for you. If you and your family want variety, affordable prices and a... read more

Pretty good Menu with a lot of variety. I had crab cake sandwich, but it was not what I was expecting. Nothing resembling a Maryland crabcake, it was more like a fish cake. Wife had a mixed fried seafood platter which was good, but again, no wow factor. Prices seem reasonable, but the infamous lobster pie was very pricy (over $30)... More

The Maine Dinner serves a variety of dishes. Breakfast is available all day and the menu is extensive. Home cooking at reasonable prices. The corn muffins are large and delicious. Portions are generous. The home made crab cakes were large and very good. They were served with cole slaw, choice of potato, and a corn muffin. The chicken pot pie... More

Everyone has their own view of the greatest lobster roll ever, and it's kinda' funny how passionate people get over a hot buttered roll, with one ingredient: lobster. This place is fun and on a recent visit for lunch, jam-packed. It seemed most of the customers were local residents eating everything but lobster rolls (meatloaf was the daily special.) The... More

I would give this more stars if there were more to give! It's a true diner, but the food is ridiculous!mwe all had the Lobster casserole and it was amazing! And so reasonable! And a huge plus are the wonderful waitresses. I can't say enough about this wonderful experience! Cannot wait to go back!

One of the places we were lucky to enjoy on our recent trip to this area. We were drawn here first from the reviews on this site and then recognized it had been highlighted in "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives". We had a great breakfast and bought some items from the store 😊

We were staying in Wells Beach and a friend recommended the diner to us. My son looked their menu up online and we were sold! The staff was great! The almond encrusted french toast and the lobster quiche were out of this world! Would highly recommend!

We make sure we have at least once breakfast here during our annual Wells vacation. It's an institution! The grandkids love the blueberry pancakes & gift shop. Husband and I always split the Deuce's wild, perfect for 2 people, considering the size of the portion! Service has always been good and never had a long wait for the food. Depending... More

I really don't understand why this place is rated so highly. Had their highly rated seafood chowder and lobster pie. Expensive and overrated in my opinion. Chowder was full of good seafood but was very bland. Lobster pie was a small dish and very dry. In my opinion there are much better places very nearby. Atmosphere is non-existent unless you... More
