This cozy diner was great! This was great comfort food. Home style cooking with friendly staff. Would eat here over and over again.

Just ended a twenty year relationship with the Maine diner. I would have ended it long ago had I known how rude and inconsiderate the owner is. We went there with a party of 11 for breakfast and made it abundantly clear that we were willing to split up into any number and even be seated at different times.....just wanted... More

Delicious breakfast, but way overpriced for what I got. A ham and cheese omelet for 9.95??? Total of 17.75 for one person for breakfast, bacon, coffee, and OJ.... NO THANKS!

We stopped here on our way from Bar Harbor to Boston since it had been recommended by a friend. We arrived after 1:00 and were surprised we had to wait in line. We ended up getting a seat at the counter. Service was very good. Food and atmosphere were average. Menu seemed to have a large selection. Honestly, couldn't figure... More

Went here because we heard it was one of Guy Fieri's stops on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Had there lobster stew which was so good. Not thick...in a mild cream sauce with chunks of lobster. Then their lobster pie. OMG So good. All tender, tasty lobster meat in a casserole dish convered in buttered bread crumbs. To die for!

A good solid breakfast, all day long if you like. The Miles Henry benedict is something to write home about -- or at least write to the internet about. Two eggs benedict with hollandaise served over fried cod cakes. It is a tasty, creamy, delight!

After 19 years of stops at the Maine Diner, it has never disappointed. Meatloaf Monday is a favorite of my husband's. A perfect "comfort food" meal from the huge portion of meatloaf to the spot on gravy. I am addicted to the hot lobster roll with warm drawn butter. I have never found a match for that anywhere. The Maine... More
