My wife ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, it had absolutely no taste to it and it seemed like they poured an entire bottle of bbq sauce on it. Neither my wife nor I were able to eat the pork b/c of how poorly it was prepared. I ordered the Homemade Mac & Cheese and thought that I must have... More

Love the sign, cute diner, but it was crazy crowded, and the food is just okay. My husband liked his bagel sandwich, my sausage and gravy had a ton of sausage, not enough gravy (maybe just personal preference), the potatoes and coffee were "eh." The waitress was nice, but never even asked us if we wanted a second cup of... More

The lobster roll was incredible! Cole slaw was tasty but a little too much dressing for my taste. The seafood soup was a little underwhelming. I have friends who have had amazing soup here so consistency may be an issue. No matter what the lobster roll was excellent!!!

The Maine Diner was on Diners, Drive-in, and Dives but if you watch the snow it doesn't really rate the food it was just a recipe lesson on how they make their chowder. This place is ALWAYS so so crowded and frankly not worth the wait. I can honestly say the best part of the meal was the corn muffin... More

Sure its summer, its busy and full, and worth the wait, the crowds and the tight spaces, But it is an AWESOME DINER and has something for everyone, at very affordable prices. Go and judge for yourself, don't let the haters influence your rightful enjoyment of this DINER EXPERIENCE!!!

Visited Wednesday 9/10 @ 7pm. Quite possibly the worst dinner on a week long vacation in Maine. The lobster pie..all breadcrumbs. The chicken ala king..straight from a can. The biscuits...hockey pucks, too dense. The apple crisp was horrible..the apples were hard & the crisp was non existent. The table for 5 was too small & the chairs were too close... More

I love the diner setting. I even love the food. I hate going during the summer months as it is so packed with people you can't move.

Always eat here when we are in the area. Great "diner" experience. Food is delicious and service is great. Be prepared to wait. They have a cute gift shop you can explore while waiting. Usually seated within 30 mins. It's worth the wait!

I ordered their deuces wild breakfast this morning and I ain't no little guy but I couldn't finish it. The menu says it has 2 blueberry pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausage links 2 strips of bacon, and 2 pieces of toast. What the menu does'nt say is that the pancakes are about dinner plate size. They are enough by themselves.... More

Had the best seafood chowder i ever had in my life. PACKED full of shrimp, clams, scallops and lobster. My wife had the chicken pot pie which she said was really good as well. The pulled pork had a tangy bbq sauce that was sweeter than we ever had, but was very good and the serving sizes are above average, we... More
