Really enjoyed our meals here. Ate here twice on our trip. I hear the lines are crazy long, but it was quiet (off season) and we got in right away both times. Get the hot roast beef sandwich. Super good!

Stopped in for breakfast while traveling from Boston up to Maine. Sure glad we did. Was super packed but only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. Our waitress was super very attentive . Coffee was great as well as our super fresh eggs an breakfast. Best corn beef hash I ever tasted. Great atmosphere fu. Crowd. Even... More

This was our second choice for breakfast (tried congdons first) but it should have been our first. I always forget how yummy this place is and how cheap for breakfast. The wait was out the door but we still got seated within five minutes. The service was fast, the food was hot and the waitress was very sweet. My boyfriend... More

The hubby and i decided to stop in for a quick lunch. They were extremely busy and were able to seat us within 10 minutes at the counter. The waitresses were very attentive even though they said they never expected it to be this busy. We will definitely stop again the next time we are in the area.

We made a point to stop in and try the lobster roll when we were in Maine this year, The restaurant is above the typical dinner experience, clean with home made goodness. The hot lobster roll with melted butter was fantastic with a nice portion of lobster, the price was up there and was a little disappointed with the extra... More

It was our wedding anniversary so we took a nice drive north from Boston (about 90 minutes) and stopped by one of our favorite places; the Maine Diner. The special that day was meatloaf and my wife had the amazing crab cakes and beans. The cornbread muffins they serve with meals is perfect. We love this place for its reasonable... More

Went for breakfast. Had a great breakfast. Didn't have to wait long. It is a great diner. If Guy Fieri went and reviewed the place you know it is great.

It's not fancy but do you expect it to be when it's called a diner? We had the lobster mac and cheese and it was very good. Enough lobster to know that's what you're eating. You have to have the blueberry pie alamode though. And don't have vanilla ice cream, have the blueberry. It has chocolate chunks in it and... More

My kids love this place and so I often suffer through huge lines even when we go off season. I don't get it! Don't get me wrong, food is fine for what it is, diner fare and service is good with honest non-chain friendly staff who do a great job handling the endless crowds. So if your in the mood... More

We took our small grandchildren here for breakfast. The wait was about 15 minutes but the service was great and the food was yummy. As a "syrup snob" coming from Vermont, I will never eat pancakes without real syrup. They had it!
