Overall a cheap experience for a premium price. We were first greeted by the waitstaff asking my wife not to sit at the side of the table we were seated at in case other patrons arrived. Then comes the fine rice pilaf and cole slaw in paper trays. While finishing the meal the crew decides it's appropriate to start mopping... More

One day we headed to the old Lords Restaurant in Wells Beach for our usual lobster roll, only to find it had closed. However, on the way, we noticed a little whole-in-the-wall place called the Fisherman's Catch. So, because we were desperate for good seafood, we took a chance. It is a little informal inside, with seating on picnic tables,... More

We found out about this gem the day before heading back home and were so glad we did! The friendly staff, laid back atmosphere and fantastic food were a perfect way to end our trip! Don't miss the lobster dinner and the key lime pie!!! It was really reasonable too which was great.

We have eaten at this restaurant many times over the years and always have a great experience. The atmosphere is perfect with the smells of the ocean and marshes wafting in and out. The service is fantastic and friendly. The food is the best. This recent visit we tried the crab cakes (yummy) and the friend clam strips and scallops.... More

You eat at picnic tables, the napkins are a roll of paper towels suspended above your head, the service is fast and friendly and the food (I left the best for last) I EXCELLENT! We both started with a cup of the clam chowder, the my wife had the lobster roll and I had the scallop dinner.

From the boat outside to the paper towels hanging from a lobster paper towel rack in the ceiling, this place speaks beach--and seafood. The clam chowder is as amazing as claimed, the fish, clams, lobster roll and sides all great, and the service outstanding. The wait can be a bit long, it's crowded, and you can watch the guys working... More

We love to go to the Catch. It is definitely a "clam shack", quite small with tables and benches and paper towel rolls hanging from the ceiling. Get there early as it is very popular and fills up fast. It is a seasonal restaurant open from mid spring to mid October. We always stop there when we are at the... More

My wife and I ate here twice on a 3 day visit to Wells... Everything right down to the coleslaw was amazing... I would consider driving the hour and a half from my apartment to eat here again... Will definitely be back soon...

We love to come here for dinner when we visit Wells. Each family member has a different favorite thin about this special place... I love the paper towels hanging from the lobsters hanging above the tables, the love lobster tank with a special floating turtle, the pictures on the ceiling drawn by children who have been there and I course...
