We visit the area several times a year but always off season. It's always a treat when we catch Fisherman's Catch open. We were there in September on our anniversary and the food was scrumptious. I had a special with scallops. The chowder is out of this world! The only negative is that it's not open year 'round!! But then... More

On arrival, I saw all the vehicles parked anywhere and everywhere around this small seafood shack. I thought I was in for a real treat. Inside, the place was a madhouse with about 30 people waiting. After waiting 40 minutes, I finally got the lone table right in the busiest part of the restaurant---frequently known in the restaurant business as... More

We ate here three different times while touring Wells Maine. Nuf said. Enjoy the pics. Man, I'm hungry for their lobsters. Cooked to perfection with plenty of cold beer and drawn butter.

All of our food was good but the chowder was the best. The children's fried shrimp plate was excellent.

We stopped in to the restaurant for lunch, we weren't very hungry so we just ordered a sandwich. They were fine. It is very laid back and a cute little place, small inside, the paper towels for you to use hand from the ceiling and you just reach up and grab what you need, never saw this before!

Have tried just about one of everything on the menu just keeps getting better. The fried clams are a must .If you don't care for sea food the pulled pork. is second to none

What a great place to eat along the shore. Typical Maine seafood in a basic building with picnic tables & benches. Visited by many and waiting to be seated could take 30 min's. Food is very good but the service is a little slow. Crab cakes, clams, & scallops are some of the best in the area. A great experience,.

We ate at the Fisherman's catch in early Oct around 2PM on a Saturday. Realize this is a fish shack with picnic tables inside and paper towels hanging over each table. Had to wait a few minutes for a table. Yes what we ordered was fried but oh so good. We both had haddock sandwiches along with a bowl of... More

We had planned to have dinner in Perkins Cove, but over heard the owner of Tully’s (an AMAZING beer, mead and wine store) telling another patron about Fisherman’s Catch. My interest piqued I asked for the details and we decided to give it a shot instead of heading down to the cove where we would end up paying for parking... More

We have been in this area many but this was our first at Fisherman's Catch. What a wonderful surprise!!! If you are looking for a 4 star dining experience with fine wine and clothes napkins this is not the place for you--look elsewhere. If you love fresh Maine seafood prepared simply in a no-frills setting----what I think of as real... More
