This restaurant was always crowded and rightfully so. Good food, good atmosphere. If the wait to sit is too long order take out and sit at tables outside. The seafood was excellent, even the kids loved it. Non - seafood lovers have plenty of choices too. Binoculars at some of the tables to look out over the marsh.

The Microtel Hotel in York told us about this restaurant and were they right. Heard that it can get really crwded by locals at dinner So we went to a late lunch. They were still busy. Looked around as we entered everyone's food looked great but the twin lobsters were really inviting . The price very resonable so in we... More

The food here is not as good as people rave. It isn't bad but not my first choice of places to eat. The prices are typical for the wells area. It can get pretty congested so call ahead and check on the wait.

Places like this can blow fine dining to dust. This is truly a no frills place so no expectation of laundry washable napkins and chic menu should be had. However, if you have an appetite for great and fresh seafood, friendly and honest service, this is the place to be! I had my first lobster here served chilled as an... More

I went twice during August 2014. Clam chowder is the best we have taken. We also took fish and chips for our kids. That was also great. To complete dinner we took lobster. What a great choice.

Our family of 10 didn't have a reservation and because of the weather, we opted not to eat outdoors so we took our dinners as take-out. Our dinners consisted of fried clams, scallops, and haddock sandwich combination plates. Everything was delicious. The waitresses included everything we would need for our dinner in our take-out. It was easy to have dinner... More

We ate at the Fisherman’s Catch on our way home from a weekend in Maine. Luckily, we arrived mid-afternoon on Sunday, so the wait for a table was not excessive. The restaurant has a nice menu, with everything extremely fresh and properly prepared. It also has a beer and wine menu that includes several nice local beers on tap. My... More

We stopped here on our way home from a weekend in the greater Portland area. This is by far the best Maine seafood shack experience I have had. The fish and chips were exactly what I was looking for, not just thin filets but chunks of fish too. They serve rolls on the side so you can even make a... More
