Good location and service but lobster rolls could have been better(score 3). Bread was thick and over toasted. No lettuce and scant mayo. Clam chowder (score 3) had thin sauce with loads of potato. Clam strips were quite good (score 4.5) and perfectly cooked. Blueberry pie was just ok(score 3). Onion rings pretty good (score4).

My husband and my self wanted fried clams. We ordered a fisherman's platter for two. It was good. We also, had a bowl of lobster stew and clam chowder. I love this little place. It has paper towels coming down in front of you.

We typically check out restaurant options on TA, but this time we were spontaneous! We wanted to have lobster rolls for a late lunch and when we saw the roadside sign we headed in that direction. The place was full, but not packed, so we had a nice corner table from which we could see the whole restaurant. Loved the... More

Fisherman's Catch is in my opinion the very definition of a tourist trap. It is in my view overpriced and frankly, not worth the money. I also feel that the building itself is too small and doesn't give a lot of room for a comfortable dining experience. You are better off going down the street to Billy's Chowder House or... More

We wanted to eat here because we read so many wonderful reviews on TA. We went on a Friday night, around 5:30, and the place was packed. So, we waited an hour for our table. No problem-we took a walk.Service is efficient and friendly. Hubby and I shared a fisherman's platter-fried food paradise.(clams, haddock, french fries and scallops) The platter... More

Our family comes up every year and we use to love going to fishermans catch, we told our friends and family about it.. But this summer will be our last time going to this restaurant. We ordered take out and we Spent 55.00 dollars for three lobster stews. Not even sure it should be called that, that's all it was... More

Enjoyed our lobster and fried fish! Recommended by our hotel, we gave it a try and really enjoyed it. Place was packed so that was a good sign! Service was very good, place is clean and the food was great! Hubby and I shared the beer sampler with recommendations from our server. I had the seafood combo (fried clams and... More

If you can go mid-week, you simply have to have the spicy crab chowder. It is the best chowder I've ever had. If you go on the weekend, all other things I've tasted are good as well: lobster salad, fish & chips, crab cakes... This place is a real gem.

Visit this restaurant, every time I am in the region. Typical dockside seafood restaurant, a bit on the rough side, with board décor, picnic style tables, paper plates, but it is reasonable in cost and the portions are generous. Prompt service, and the hanging paper towel napkin dispensers, have to be experienced to be believed. It works incredibility well, and... More

This was the first (but not the last time) we have been here. The fried clams, fried oysters were very good. We did have to wait ten minutes for a table but it was well worth the wait. I like how the paper towels were hanging above the tables, and a pair of binoculars was hooked to the table. The... More
