A friend told us that we HAD to visit this restaurant for either breakfast or lunch. (They only serve dinners on weekends) Merriland Farm Cafte is located off the beaten path, but well worth the trip! The setting is just lovely. It was a glorious summer morning, so we chose to sit outside and enjoy the view. It is our... More

Beautiful location, great service, lots of delicious creative food options. Went for breakfast. Loved the jumbo white chocolate raspberry muffin! Our meals were great, too. Busy, but the system they've got is pretty efficient so we didn't wait long. Can't wait to return!

I really do wish there was a way to award this place more than 5 stars. It is in a pretty country location that is off the beaten track but well worth finding. Charming doesn't begin to describe how pretty this place is. Service and food were both simply superb. There is nothing much more I can say about this... More

Well, not really hidden but off the beaten path of Route 1. We took friends to the Merriland Farm Cafe for Sunday breakfast and the experience couldn't have been better. Choice seating is outside on the patio so even if you are there when the cafe opens at 8am, you are probably going to have a wait. We got there... More

We live in southern Maine and have visited Merriland Farm Cafe many times for breakfast (can't speak for anything else). It is way way off the beaten path so you will probably need a GPS to find it. But it is worth finding - for breakfast anyway. We have had a variety of their breakfast offerings and I can speak... More

Loud, service very slow, food mediocre, atmosphere dull, people dull, wait staff boring. Nothing to write home about. Out in the boondocks.

A friend of ours is moving away so I and another friend decided to take her to lunch . We chose Merriland Farm Cafe since anything on route one in July is very busy during the tourist season. We were seated out on the patio but it was chilly so asked to be reseated inside as soon as a table... More

While off the beaten path, it is totally worth the trip to find it. I came for breakfast and had the best eggs benedict I've ever had in my life! (green eggs and ham). The food was delicious and the portions generous. Although the restaurant was quite busy, we were given the choice of sitting outside on the patio or... More

Finally got to eat lunch here after a couple of attempts in the past when we were either too late (they close at 2:00PM for lunch) or it was Tuesday when the restaurant is closed. We were fortunate to have a perfect weather day and ate outside in the beautiful, natural setting that makes you feel lucky to be there.... More

Open for breakfast and lunch seven day at 0900 and for dinner on Friday's and Saturday's this out of the way cafe is outstanding. Great stuffed French Toast, super omelets, and make sure you order raspberry blueberry tea read as a starter. We buy their raspberry blueberry homemade jam by the case. Great sandwiches and dinner menu is fantastic.
