While off the beaten path, it is totally worth the trip to find it. I came for breakfast and had the best eggs benedict I've ever had in my life! (green eggs and ham). The food was delicious and the portions generous. Although the restaurant was quite busy, we were given the choice of sitting outside on the patio or... More

Finally got to eat lunch here after a couple of attempts in the past when we were either too late (they close at 2:00PM for lunch) or it was Tuesday when the restaurant is closed. We were fortunate to have a perfect weather day and ate outside in the beautiful, natural setting that makes you feel lucky to be there.... More

Open for breakfast and lunch seven day at 0900 and for dinner on Friday's and Saturday's this out of the way cafe is outstanding. Great stuffed French Toast, super omelets, and make sure you order raspberry blueberry tea read as a starter. We buy their raspberry blueberry homemade jam by the case. Great sandwiches and dinner menu is fantastic.

In Wells near Ogunquit Maine , housed in a 240 y old building with outdoor seating in a garden lies a spectacular breakfast venue. Quaint charm , great service and creative breakfast menu keep this place jammed ! Try the Atlantic eggs consisting of crab and lobster cakes served on your choice of popover or English muffin . Have the... More

Was passing through Wells, ME on our way up north and were looking for 'the best breakfast in Wells' and Merriland's came up. Hidden about a mile and a half off of Rte 1 was a gem of a cafe. We missed breakfast but enjoyed a wonderful 'Maine' seafood lunch. Clam and Fish chowders amongst the best we have had... More

We arrived for breakfast, the setting is lovely. It was a misty morning so we did not get to try the patio which looked very inviting but got a table overlooking the garden which was nice also. Service was excellent, the food is definitely higher quality and priced but plentiful. I ordered the eggs benedict on lump crabmeat, my husband... More

Four of us went to dinner here for the first time. The food was very well presented and the portions plentiful. I had the Scallop Carbonara and it was excellent. Scallops were delicious and there were at least a dozen of them. I took some home and that had 6 scallops in it. My friend had the prime rib but... More

We were there for breakfast, which is served until 11:15 on weekdays and slightly later on weekends. First of all, the setting is really lovely. We ate under an umbrella on a patio surrounded by pastoral countryside and birdsong - very relaxing. The service was attentive and friendly. My friend ordered Belgian waffles and loved it - one giant waffle... More

As you leave Rt. 1 in Wells onto Coles Hill Road, and head west through the countryside, you begin to wonder if you are on the right road, since there isn't much around to start. Then you begin to see houses here and there, and finally come upon a beautiful country golf course. No sign of a restaurant yet, but... More

This place was highly recommended, so we visited for breakfast the day after Mother's Day. Opens at 8, so don't come early. The four of us liked the breakfast, but the quantity of food was a bit much. The eggs benedict were good but not the best we have experienced. A variety of omelets. Romantic farmhouse setting.
