We've to the Merriland before and we're looking forward to a return visit. Our group of 5 arrived just as they were opening at 8:00. It took quite awhile for our meal to arrive and when it did, we had a very "cool" omelet. The rest of the meals were good, but the wait and the omelet, kind of put... More

I am so glad we stopped for lunch. Food was fresh and tasted wonderful. The setting of property was cozy. I liked that it was not "touristy". We had a small wait for table but it was so worth it.

Should have suspected there might be a problem when there was no wait at 9:30am during peak season. Hostess was not rude but not friendly either and generally indifferent. The menu feigns a upmarket image but the food is decidedly downmarket. No seasoning, reminded me of the meals at my mother's assisted living residence. IE fancy menu but institutional quality.

I am part of a local breakfast group that meets 2 x month. I have enjoyed the omelets for the past few weeks. Belgian waffles My waffle looked suspiciously white and was cold. I could only choke down about a quarter of the waffle and gave up. Here is an image - eating a cold Belgian waffle with cold syrup.... More

Merriland Farm Cafe for breakfast, lunch or dinner in summer. The setting is lovely as there is outdoor seating where the patio overlooks part of a golf course and is surrounded by beautiful landscaping and old trees. Reservations are accepted for dinner Friday and Saturday Prime Rib is a must here, but get here early or it may be gone!... More

We have eaten here once before for breakfast & ended up taking a blueberry pie home which was, hands down, the best blueberry pie I've ever eaten. We just ate here yesterday for lunch & enjoyed sitting outside in the shade on the green lawn. It's a beautiful view & they have a large variety of food options: crepes, sandwiches,... More

On my daughter's recommendation, my wife and I decided to have breakfast during our trip to Maine at this out-of-the-way countryside restaurant. We were both quite pleased, not only with the good quality of our breakfast choices, but also with the pleasant atmosphere, as we sat outdoors with a view of pastures, trees, and farmhouses. I very much enjoyed my... More

I have had breakfast and lunch here many times. The blueberry stuffed French toast is always a favorite for breakfast. Weekends there is a bit of a wait. There is outdoor seating on the patio overlooking the golf course which is beautiful. For lunch there is a nice variety on the menu. It ranges from luncheon crepes to hardy sandwiches.... More

We visited Merriland Farms on Sunday morning for breakfast. The restrarant is a bit removed off of Route #1 and you must purpose to go there. You certainly would not " stumble" upon it. There are just a few parking spaces and the restaurant building is an old, very charming (remodeled) structure with original wooden, ceiling beams dating back to... More
