First time in Wells. We stoped for take-out. Ordered a $20 Lobster Roll. - disappointed. Also ordered Fried Zucchini which had no taste at all - how about some seasoning? My wife got chicken strips and carrots - also bland. Surprised at the favorable ratings. We won't be back.

Atomosphere was good, service was good, staff and patrons were friendly, but the food was average, not as tasty as some of the seafood we have eaten as a family, up and down the east coast.

If you love seafood, this is the place to go. Mike's has the best ever seafood chowder, great stir fry, and wonderful salads. The lobster rolls usually come with clam chowder. Lobster bisque is so full of meat that it's lobster meat with a little broth. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Friendly efficient wait staff, good food, reasonably priced. No long wait, desserts delicious! Fish shack for fresh seafood next door.

This popular restaurant is a great stop during the off season. The service was exceptional, food was great and there was a band at the pub after dinner. The shore dinner - lobster pot with steamers, and clam chowder was excellent. Escargot as an appetizer was very garlicky - Yum! There are numerous specials throughout the week as well. So... More

When travelling the Maine coast, we asked locals in a shop where they recommended to get lobster given that the local restaurants right at the beaches weren't open for the season yet. They recommended Mike's. We had the lobster rolls which were okay but not great. They didn't seem melt-in-your-mouth fresh and I wondered if they were a little overcooked.... More

Took a group of 11 in to eat. No problem seating us. Between the group, we had about everything on the menu. Everyone was very satisfied. From lobster to a turkey wrap, all was great. Very pleasant atmosphere and service was on top of it. We liked it so much, we went twice!

Gotta have it when visiting Maine. The clams were fresh and gritty as they should be and the seafood stuffed mushrooms Devine. Roast beef was tender and yummy. Cute little gift shop- buy the chocolate salted Carmel's - the best!

The food here was very delicious, I had the lobster pie, which was filled with moist lobster, my husband had fried clams and scallops, they where cooked to perfection and my son had the Trio, which was ribs, chicken and steak, he said they were all delicious. Oh and I can't forget our order of steamers for an appetizer, OMG... More

My Lobster pie - the stuffing was mushy, the lobster was rubbery and frankly it tasted as if it were cooked from frozen! The shack potatoes served with the other entrees were tepid at best. Service was painfully slow.
