a bit expensive for Italian but not out of reason, the food is good and well served and more than ample in size. The wine list is very reasonably priced which is a pleasant surprise for a tourist area. The bread is beyond superb, wonderful stuff if you are into bread and they do not load up the olive oil with... My wife and I ate here on my Birthday and I couldn't of asked for a better meal to celebrate it... I got the Veal Parm... The portion was sooooo big that I was eating the leftovers for 2 days after...

The food is outstanding. I had the chicken rollatini this year and loved it! The bread is awesome and you need to be careful that you don't get full on the bread and garlic oil; yummy!!! This is the second year in a row that we visited Varano's; our third time total. We have never been disappointed. My only criticism... More

Varano's great food and service! Not a typical chain food restaurant. Offers a variety from seafood to wonderful Italian food! I do find that in the summer it can get a little loud.

Once you have tired of lobster rolls and fish and chips, this restaurant will satisfy your desire for pasta. Pros : Nice job on the basic dishes and an okay wine list ( Italian wines only). Cons: The decor however is so-so, the seating uncomfortable for extended dining, and the noise level of the open floor plan makes conversation difficult.

My girlfriend and I finally made it to Varano's Italian Restaurant last month and walked out with a smile in our bellies. If you're used to the Olive Garden kind of food (which can be good, don't get me wrong) this will be a step up. The menu is extensive with options for vegetarians like ourselves, though we opted to... More

A nice place for a good traditional Italian dinner, nothing overly special, but standards done well. Alfredo was freshly made and tasted of cream and parmigiano Reggiano and not a generic white sauce. The Bolognese included a generous serving of pork, veal and beef, my only criticism would be that it didn't really coat the pasta well. Nice wine list,... More

Always great food and lots of different choices. The steaks and pasta dishes are very authentic Italian and they are always very good portions, so although the prices are a little higher just know you will be getting more than an average plate for a meal. Also the minestrone soup here is the best I have ever had. For dinner... More

Love Varanos. I've been eating out in area for more than twenty years and this place is the best Italian good around. The pasta is well cooked the portions are large and the good is always fresh and tasty. The apps are just the right size and very creative and good. It can be a bit loud. If your going... More

This restaurant does not take reservation because they don't have to. There was a 25 minute wait at 7:00 PM on a Thursday night. We were a couple so they had a 2 seat available immediately. We decided to order a salad to split rather than a tossed salad with our dinners since the difference was minimal. The salad was... More
