We have been to the Bull and Claw a few times now. The breakfast buffet is very good and worth the money. This is most crowded it gets...it seems...as we have driven past several times during lunch/dinner and never too many cars. We did stop in for lunch recently, as the Maine Diner (or first choice) had a long wait... More

My sister and I stopped here for a late lunch in early May. There were approximately six other diners in the place, with an average age of about 80 years. I should have taken a hint when the "Sound of Music" was playing on the radio station that i sipped throughout the restaurant. There are dozens of tables in the... More

We eat here every time we come to ME because we know we will be happy. Their menu is varied enough to make everyone happy, their drinks are good and their staff are attentive. They specialize in seafood but I had a prime rib that melted in my mouth. It was cooked perfectly! Our whole group was satisfied and no... More

The Bull & Claw has been around a long time. For some reason this place is often overlooked it could be because it is across from the Maine Diner. Yes it is a bit dated, but very clean and the food and drinks are very good. It has a huge soup and salad bar (yes that era). They have great... More

There is considerable room for improvement in this establishment. The cleanliness of the dinning room needs immediate attention. The cleanliness and presentation itself needs to be upgraded. I went there with my wife and daughter. My daughter got the children's mac and cheese, which was tasteless and clearly out of the Kraft box. I had the prime rib; it was... More

My wife and I try to time our trip north to Canada to correspond with this restaurant's lunch hour. It is one of our favorite spots to stop for seafood. I had fried clams which were don't just right and my wife had fish and chips which were equally as satisfying. We both added the salad bar and were happy... More
