Good Pub

The food is typical pub food with additional Irish type items. It is a good place to grab a beer, have fish and chips and listen to live music. The service is solid, the place is clean and while the menu isn't extensive, i've found the food consistent. Overall, if you are in Wells and looking for... read more

Outside a a decent beer menu, the menu offered little more than not so good pub faire. I did not have the highest expectations going in, the menu failed to excite. The wings were decent. After that, it fell apart. The party of five all left something on our plates.

Crabcakes were much too bready and had a sweetness to them not mormally associated with crab cakes. Burger was very good as wrre fries , but nothing outstanding. Staff was friendly service was ok. Nothing out of the park.

We came in for a late dinner after arriving at our hotel. We enjoyed a drink and ordered a few plates to split, a salad and nachos. The salad was fine, but the dressing was weird, you could tell it was there but it had no taste. We ended up putting salt and pepper on the salad to spruce it... More

Wonderful hospitality. Walked in 1 hour prior to closing. Service was impeccable. Attention to detail. Atmosphere was hopping in a Thursday night. Entertainment to boot. Thank you for a marvelous time!

Friendly staff. Best fish and chips we have ever had. Comfortable restaurant and very accommodating for our large group. Reasonable prices.

Typical pub food. Chicken fingers, wings, nachos ... yes the owner is Irish ... a few Irish food items - bangers and mash, corned beef, believe they had boiled dinner ... also had shrimp Alfredo which my daughter really enjoyed with asparagus, coconut shrimp my son devoured and a curry chicken salad my husband enjoyed. A definite plug for (the... More

OK, I vacation in Maine all the time and I don't like fish. Odd but true. However, on a recent visit my husband urged me to take a taste of his fish and chips and I was amazed at how good the fish was. It didn't fit my image of "fishy" fish but was crisp and delicious. So, the next... More

This is one of the nicest Irish pubs we have found. It has a large quiet dining room and a lounge area that has a warm, friendly atmosphere without getting overly noisy when crowded. The menu has all the traditional Irish favorites one would expect to find including fish and chips, bangers and mash and shepherds pie amongst others. The... More

We ended up at Feile for the first time and after we had been seated, found out it was changing ownership the next day. Bar was crowded with loyal patrons who were clearly having a good time saying their goodbyes to the family who'd ran the place for 6 years. We were a little concerned when the waiter told us...
