Great beer, fun staff and yummy fish and chips!

OK, I vacation in Maine all the time and I don't like fish. Odd but true. However, on a recent visit my husband urged me to take a taste of his fish and chips and I was amazed at how good the fish was. It didn't fit my image of "fishy" fish but was crisp and delicious. So, the next... read more

This is one of the nicest Irish pubs we have found. It has a large quiet dining room and a lounge area that has a warm, friendly atmosphere without getting overly noisy when crowded. The menu has all the traditional Irish favorites one would expect to find including fish and chips, bangers and mash and shepherds pie amongst others. The... More

We ended up at Feile for the first time and after we had been seated, found out it was changing ownership the next day. Bar was crowded with loyal patrons who were clearly having a good time saying their goodbyes to the family who'd ran the place for 6 years. We were a little concerned when the waiter told us... This restaurant is well-located, charming, good parking and they have a fabulous beer selection. We don't live too far from here, so I'm surprised we'd not been before, but we avoid the beach like the plague in the summer months. Anyway, we arrived during what appeared to be a transitional time..they were out of several items due to what our... More

Was there for dinner. Serving hours almost over for dinning room was told they would serve us. Waiter had a horrible attitude, and was obvious he did not want to serve us. I had the corned beef and cabbage. It was not good. Cabbage was mushy and corned beef was horrible. Hey this is a Irish pub??? I will NOT... More

I wanted to post this because I was vacationing between Ogunquit and Wells and it was warmer than usual for May. I wanted to bring a salad back to my beach house and this place has one of the best salads I have ever had anywhere. You can get it with several choices of protein. I got mine with salmon.... More

Very friendly service, nice atmosphere in an old house, great beer selection and good food. Nothing fancy, but great soups, sandwiches, bugers, Irish selections. Some good bands on live music nights.

We go every time we are in Maine. The staff is fun and friendly; the atmosphere is great. We love their Irish Nachos. It's a quaint restaurant with great food.

Would have preferred sitting in bar area for the live music, but it was full. However, could hear the music from the dining room. Most of our party had the fish and chips which was excellent - 2 big thick pieces of fish. Really one would have been enough. I had the arugula salad. A lot of arugula and not... More

Whenever we visit Wells we stop in at Feile. Some times to eat their amazing food or sometimes just to sit in the Tavern and have a few of their craft brews on tap while enjoying the live local music. The staff is always delightful and food is always hot. I will warn you that the place can get extremely... More
