Great food, atmosphere and service. Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend the house brews and the salmon .

The beer list is fresh and extensive and includes their own really good microbrews. Their lobster stew was awesome. The staff was friendly and we had good service. An added bonus is that it's in a neat old post office building that adds atmosphere.

The food is great, the staff could not be more pleasant and they have live music on the weekends. We go every time we are in the area. The lobster stew is amazing.

Unless you are an area college kid, this place has horrible service. Do not go in there with the intention of a good, quick meal. We had to fight for service for drinks and to order our meal. It got to the point we were waiting so long we went to the bar to get our own drinks.... WHILE EATING... More

Reviews have been great for this resturant and I hadn't been in many years, so we decided to try it based on the reviews. However, the night we went, they were definitely off track. The place wasn't busy with plenty of tables and it took them forever to assign us a table after they greeted us. When we asked about... More

On a Saturday evening, we planned to go to Mainely Brews and eat outside. However, it earned so we went inside to a dark loud arena. The food was good and service was rapid and courteous, but the room was too loud to talk and the sound reverberated with all conversations inaudible. If you chose to go. eat only outside.

We arrived early on a Saturday evening and went downstairs into the main dining area, where we were seated. We quickly realized it was much too noisy, so we asked if we could move to the outdoor dining area. It was quite pleasant there and the food was good!

Casual dining both inside and out and food is fresh. Classic Maine fare and other great dishes available. Located under the old post office with a great atmosphere for both lunch and an evening meal.

Okay this is a cool building. Though someone needs to teach the bartender how to make sangria. It was served in a wine glass lukewarm, no fruit actually in the sangria.... there was a few slices of bar fruit on the top...um sangria you know pears, peaches, apples got to be some fresh fruit up there in Maine. On the... More
