We had an occasion to celebrate a friend's recent marriage and were able to book one of the dining rooms for a private dinner and service, outside of the restaurant's normal season. It was a prix fixed menu for the meal with pairing wines or beer additional. The dinner service began with a variety of appetizers, each of which were... More

Are they still in business? I thought they closed. This was food stuff to weep for.

Pricey compared to all the mom and pop places in Waterville, but totally worth it! If you want quality dining this is the place.

I needed a place to hold a gathering of Colby friends and their families on New Year's Night. Back in the fall I had read an article in the "Boston Globe Magazine" about college towns. Apollo's Bistro was recommended. What a pleasant surprise! The ambience of the room is perfect, and was exactly what I was looking for. Since there... More

Nearly as expensive as the same level of food in NYC but well worth it to escape the grim alternatives. Delicious steak, delightful lamb, delectable beets. Waitress a little unprofessional but still charming. Very nice room. Vertiginal staircase - watch the martinis. Definitely the best bet in what has been accurately labeled a food wasteland.

Never use for parties or events. They are dishonest in their quotes.

We went to this restaurant for our anniversary and from the first greeting to the last thank you we felt welcomed and appreciated as customers. The waiter and waitress were more than helpful and accomodating. The food was fabulous and the owner stopped by to chat and see how we were doing. It was nice to feel valued and to... More

I love the Apollo! It is disarming to go to a refurbished restaurant in a quaint college town and enter into a charming setting, great service and wonderful food. You name it: seafood, beef, pork or lamb --- they knock the ball out of the park. We were in for a special occasion with a big crowd and were very... More

There is no better way to end your relaxing day at the spa than with dinner at Apollo's Bistro. The food was not only delicious, but inventive and exciting, something hard to come by in Maine's second district. Chefs Keli Kenyon and Brian Little have an impressive range that will delight any connoisseur. The lotus chips and flatbread pizza were... More
