the best lobster rolls evah

Sure stand in line other places, but this is it...family owned and operated for 27 years. Best steamed and fried clams. Excellent chowder, lobster stew, traditional lobster shore dinner with steamers, corn on the cob, homemade bread roll and all the fixins...but the lobster roll is so good. And... read more

We went back to it this summer, and the waitress/owner was rude. Got a little mad that we asked to have our scallops cooked more and the burger was raw. Scallops were full of grit. $50.00 for to meals, nothing extra, but to over priced.

My husband and I just had dinner here. The food was great as well as the service. The owners are very friendly and service focused. Do not miss this place if you are in the area.

By far, one of the finest restaurants in Maine. Just like the large sign says, " Wicked Good Food"; they surpass the advertisement. Great Food, Exceptional Service, and all at a price you can afford. My mother-in-law lives in the area and showed us why it is THE PLACE to go. A true Maine place to dine for Good Food... More

We were famished driving down Route 1 and read reviews for this place. However we drove right by because the signage is weird. Glad we turned around. The proprietress was great, a very homey atmosphere. The food was delicious, fish (haddock) and lobster very fresh, and a nice tumbler of decent dry wine. Don't look for anything other than iceberg... More

We stopped in tonight for supper and ordered the Fried Clam Basket. What a good decision! The clams were plentiful, lightly battered, extremely tender, and absolutely delicious. We added french fries and cole slaw as our sides...also delicious. The coffee was excellent, as were the homemade rolls. The restaurant has been run by the same family for over 25 years... More

We have traveled up and down the Maine shoreline in search for the best Lobsta rolls in the country. Finally we found a wicked good restaurant. This lob-sta roll was pure lobsta, and no filler. They also put a heaping helping on there for you. FINALLY a restaurant that doesn't make you feel like you overpaid.

Stopped by for lunch and had a great meal with my family in a place that made you feel like part of theirs! Service was great and the blueberry crumble was absolutely amazing. It is a little on the pricey side.

Tried it out on our way to Acadia. Went by again on our way home to Massachusetts. Very good idea, captain. Delicious, fresh and we will be back.

The sign does not lie, the food is wicked good, and so is the service.  From the fresh squeezed lemonade and homemade roll that started us off, straight to the creamy chowder, hot steamed lobster, and sweet corn on the cob....this place. Did not dissapoint! Our waitress was wonderful as was ever bite of our meal. Try the blueberry shortcake... More
