Renowned Moody's for a good filling meal!

Unpretentious good old fashioned diner. Serves basic meals not qualifying for a gourmet's tastes, but good home cooking reasonably priced fare enjoyed by just about everyone. We have been to Moody's many, many times over the past several years. We love how fresh their food always is. All of their deserts and dinner rolls are all made fresh in-house.. People travel from all over just to eat here.. kudos to the staff at Moody's for delivering great, fresh meals. There is almost always a line, but... More

Although the diner was very busy, food arrived in fairly quick time and was good value for the dollar. Very good freshly breaded scallops, mac and cheese although our party actually did not care for their pie. Some had strawberry rhubarb and some had coconut cream. It actually had very good pie crust, however the filling was slightly disappointing. Other... More

have ever had. I am not generally a huge pie fan but this is an exception! We shared the 4 berry pie and it was delicious! Perfect crust- not overly sweet. Just a perfect balance! Do not miss Moodys pie near Rockport Maine on I-4!

We stopped here mid afternoon because we heard Moody's is famous for their pies. We tried the four berry ( strawberry, raspberry, blueberry and blackberry), blue berry and banana cream. All I can say is wow!

Let me start by saying this is not a fancy, sit down and have someone break open your lobster tail kind of place. This is a good old fashioned Maine diner. I grew up in Maine and I live in New Jersey now, so I have plenty of experience with eating at diners. While I'm not here to compare the... More

We stopped here about ten years ago and nothing has changed. That's a good thing! Great comfort food at even more comfortable prices. Lots of locals make it feel like you're one of them and not part of the hordes of summer tourists. Friendly staff too. The walnut pie is to die for. Don't miss the cute gift shop next... More

My husband and I stopped in at Moody's while driving by and realizing we had heard of this place. Lunch was great and service was very pleasant. We did not have room for dessert but saw others and it looked amazing. We had no complaints at all and loved the feel of this place. Lots of history and always something... More

We stopped here on our way through Maine and I eventually managed to get a portion of Blueberry pie and it was heavenly. It looked home cooked and tasted great. The lemon merangue pie looked good too, even if it was a portion for three people. The staff were great and one old boy at the counter was great and... More
