Pie first

I write this with mix reviews. I first ate at Moody's about 18 years ago and was like THE BEST PIE EVER. I told everyone, and when we received visitors I took them to Moody's. I have eaten here about 10 times over the 18 years, and it was worth the 2 1/2 hour drive. However I ate there... read more

A stop at Moody's Diner is a must. It is no longer your typical cramped diner. Breakfast is the highlight here, and is served until 11 am. It is delicious, plentiful, varied, and cheap! Lunch and dinner is hit or miss, but if you love home cooking, you'll love Moody's. They even serve chicken crochets, mac and cheese, and meatloaf.... More

The place is always packed, in season, and for good reason. The food is fresh and good quality. An excellent diner experience with no drawbacks. The biscuit was served warm, and despite the fact that every table was full, service was considerate. Our waitress was the great-great-granddaughter of the founder; a well-scrubbed, polite, and amiable young woman named Hannah (who... More

This little hole in the wall diner served up the best scallops I've ever eaten. Service was speedy. People were friendly. Prices were reasonable. And the little gift shop on the edge of the parking lot gave a fun place to browse and shop before or after a meal. Meringue on the lemon pie was a mile high (or so... More

Good service. Friendly place. Parking lot always full, so seems popular. Not much choice for non meat eaters. Only saw fried fish options.

Been around forever, a favorite with locals and with tourists, good, classic diner fare, friendly and clean. There can be a wait at times, so be prepared.

The perfect diner... Pleasant waitstaff, good sandwiches and platters, and HUGE meringue pie. The Reuben is perfect with lots of sauerkraut and my daughter loved the kids meals.. Chicken and grilled cheese. You might have to wait during the busy times but it is well worth it.

This place is always a mob scene and there is good reason for it. The food is great, hot, the staff is always friendly and the prices are reasonable. The best coconut cream pie I have ever had, ever. I will never go by the place without getting this ambrosia of taste exploding flavor.

Everyone should visit here and say they've been. Nothing special about the food. It's a diner, it was good. Whoopie Pie was yummy. Stop by the gift shop, lots of fun stuff.

Its ok. My family loves this place and it is a classic building and location right on Rt 1. We go there at least once every time we are in the hood. Lots of locals too you you'll definitely get that Down East Vibe. Food is classic diner...gets the job done but no creativity or memorably simple interpretations of classic... More
