We have eaten here before on our trips to Booth Bay Harbor or to Bar Harbor. It is always filled both with travelers and locals yet the staff always has a smile on their faces, and the food is out of this world. It is a family style restraint. The other big item is the cost; here you can get... More

We were really hungry after leaving Portland early in the morning to head to Deer Island, and felt we were most fortunate to see this diner on route 1. The friendly service, the excellent diner food (including homemade blueberry pie with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream),large servings, and great coffee made this stop a pleasure. We had planned... Had to go, it was on my trip check off list. It's been around forever, its very popular, and I am glad I got the chance. I didn't gave a dessert and I know I should of. Our food was just fry food so I didn't get any of what I should of gotten for real diner food. but it... More

This one time, we just hit the time of day right and waited only about 5 min. before sitting at the vintage counter. We ordered the lobster roll, homemade onion rings, cole slaw and were not disappointed . Took a Whoopie pie for the road (what's not to like about that?) Can finally say I've eaten at Moody's and no... More

We found Moody's along the highway, and knew instantly this was a place for us! The parking lot was busy, and upon entering the diner there was a line which is always a good sign. You are given a number and they are very organized and efficient at getting you to a table. They have a massive menu of home... More

It was a great place to have a good home style cooked meal. Neat d fashion place on Rt1 in Maine. Service was great. I would go back again next time I vacation in ME.

We have not been to Mid Coast Maine for several years . Revisited this year and as in the past we stopped at Moody's for breakfast. We were very disappointed . My husband was looking forward to an omelet Moody's has breakfast all day But they don't consider an Omelet breakfast after a certain hour . Another table also tried... More

We went there for dinner. My wife ordered the turkey pot pie. It was all dark meat with the exception of one small piece of white meat. The crust was tough and not tasty. I had the chicken broccoli alfredo. The pasta was tired, the sauce was bland and the chicken was dry. Both dishes were mediocre but not great.... More

This was our second time to Maine and to Moody's we wanted to take our children and grandchildren to Moody's. We had to wait about 20-30 minutes because we were a group of 8, but it was well worth the wait. Great food and good service. Excellent seafood choices. Be sure to order the onion rings. And dessert - the... More
