My family and I sadly arrived at this shop after lunch, so did not have a chance to sample the restaurant. But - sample the store, we did! There was an amazing selection of meats, cheeses, jams, condiments, olives, and more! I didn't find anything I didn't like - which only served to overwhelm me in a very nice way!... More

If you want authentic German food at a great value in a funky little place off the beaten path then this is the place for you! We met two other couples here for lunch and brought our own German beer as it is BYOB! The menu is small but with wonderful selections. We recommend the German Potato Salad, the sauerbraten... More

We always try to make it to Morse's for an authentic German lunch. The wurst are fabulous, the sides are always perfect and authentic (spaetzle, dumplings, in-house made sauerkraut that we always take-out) and the servers are always pleasant. Be aware that the restaurant only has a few tables and, after 11:30 AM, there can be a long wait, so... More

This is a wonderful little restaurant and store for German food. It is known for it's hand made Sauerkraut but has many other items as well. The restaurant is small and cozy and has some wonderful German selections to choose from. The food was excellent and authentic, and the service was pleasant and attentive. The store itself is a wonder... More

This is a very small restaurant attached to a store selling German and other food products. One stops here for the sausages and the "hauls kraut.". Open for breakfast (which I haven't tried) and lunch only. Portions are generous and the food seems authentically German.

Who knew that this cute European deli/cafe existed? The space is small but packed with all sorts of European goodies that are hard to find outside of Europe. I love breakfast in their cafe. Its a small space so go early if you want to get a table without waiting. The cheese blintze with sour cherry compote are amazing. The... More

We loved the sandwiches and some of us even enjoyed the Sour Mustard Pickles-we have seen them in other restaurants in Maine. The German Chocolate cake and apple strudel were outstanding. Then they even repacked some of the mustard pickles for us so that we could take them on a plane back to Texas. This place is a little off... More

We had driven past this place several times and didn't know what a treasure it is?was! The BEST Rueben sandwich on the planet and their pickles are to die for. The store is filled with wonderful delicacies also. Oh and the hot potato salad... WOW!

My wife and I are no strangers to the store. We buy German goods there and of course Sauerkraut! We also love the Sour Mustard Pickles. It's easy to kill a c-note there especially if you have lunch or dinner and shop in the store. So, this was our first time eating there and we were not disappointed. I had... More

Best Reuben ever! Pickles are awesome. Sauerkraut is awesome. EVERYTHING is great. This is now on my list of "must visit" every time I go up to visit with family.
