Fantastic lobster - by far the best we had on our trip to New England - wonderful lobster pound ambience (lobster should not be eaten if you can't get messy). The prices were fantastic - the lobster was messy and as good as we have ever eaten - the blueberry pie was heavenly.

There are lobster pounds all along the Maine coast but some standout. The Trenton Bridge LP does just that! Walk in, pick out your lobster, pay, go sit down and wait for your number. Lots of other items on the menu like clam chowder that is absolutely delicious.

This, was our son's first time to a lobster pound. The folks were very patient with our photo taking and let hmm hold a live lobster which he enjoyed. The prices were reasonable. I would suggest that you sit in the enclosed area because we did deal with some Mosquitos when sitting under the trees. The lobster was delicious. As for... More

over priced and didn't care for the lobster stew, the staff was not friendly..but what really upset us is that you have to pay separate for the butter for your steamers and lobster..

Accidentally discovered this great place when I was visiting Bar Harbor in 2001. Since then I have come to this place to have lobsters every year during the Maine Lobster Festival. Price is right, great employees. Recommended.

We stopped here our first night in the area. We ordered a lobster which comes with nothing but the lobster. At the price per pound we paid, you would think something should come with it. It was very good but in my opinion a bit expensive. The next time we got lobster, we paid $4.00 less per pound and it... More

This is the way to eat lobster! Pick out your lobster, choose a picnic table with a water view, have some steamers while you wait for your lobster. Well organized (my order number was written on the shell with a marker) easy to order sides (chowder, corn on the cob, crisp salad, etc.) outdoor sink for hand washing, and a... More

If you are going for lobster as we were, just know that it is waaaay overcooked and tough, as other reviewers have mentioned. Also, the lobsters are super salty (boiled in salt water) which takes away from the sweetness of the meat. They charge $9 per pound as of the time of this review, and charge for butter, lemons, and... More

mmmmm...what else need I say? The lobster was delish. You pay 80 cents or so for the butter, but get two. So good. Also, you pay more for larger lobsters. I wanted about two pounds. Next time I will get two smaller ones which cost less and are supposed to be even sweeter. The corn was great too. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. They... More
