Nice view and enjoyable meal

We had the fish and chips and were seated near a window. The fish was nicely battered and the lunch portion was just the right size. We also enjoyed their own craft beer. The Raspberry Ale was light and summery. The Hazelnut Porter was tasty and a nice pairing with the fish.

Fourth time here and every time, we say "never again." #1 trip... Went with another couple and food was "okay." Service, slow as death and it was dead in there. #2 trip we went in late evening on a weeknight. Bartender was rude. Clearly bothered we came in 20min before food would not be served and we had seven whole... More

Love the location of the Sea Dog in Topsham. We went once for a late lunch/early dinner and the specials menu was awesome - we kept ordering more (cioppino was terrific). Beer was just right. Then, at the end of December, we went back, and had a very different experience. Again, an early dinner so not packed but service was... More

I love the natural decor of this old mill! Wonderful feeling, great place to imbibe, variety of food for anyone's palate, great service. I had the calamari appetizer and they were done perfectly. So many places overcook and you end up with chewy, chewy, chewy!

We stop here from time to time and always leave satisfied. Menu is very good with a great gluten free selection and nice choices for vegetarians and vegans. Food is always good and staff is always cheerful and attentive. If you're in the area it's definitely the place to go for great beer and good food!

We go here repeatedly for a pleasant drink and meal. A good brunch with moderate service can be enjoyed here along the Androscoggin River. The bloody marys are spicy and the food fresh and consistent. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. Dinners are standard fare but well portioned, relatively local and worth a casual evening.

My husband fully enjoyed his beautifully golden fried scallops and fries, my Fresh Spring Roll salad was flavorful, but the rice noodles were definitely under cooked. The fired pickle appetizer hit the spot on a cold November evening with the same golden brown as the other fried items on our table and a nice dipping sauce. Perhaps the best part... More

My buddy and I stopped in at Sea Dogs in Topsham Maine on 11/08/2014. Usually it is a burger and a couple of their crafted beer. Today, I saw an item on the monthly menu that intrigued me. It was a venison-duck sausage lasagna with a reduced red wine sauce and garli bread. It was outstanding and reasonably priced. I'd... More

The owners of the B&B we were staying at told us to get dinner at the Sea Dog Brewery. We first had a few drinks at the bar and then had our dinner. The food was very tasteful and the staff was friendly even if it was very busy.
