Had a great and very filling grilled lobster dinner on the patio. Great view of the harbor, lobster done to perfection, and friendly service.

The four of us (two couples) went to the Fisherman's Friends Restaurant on the basis of a recommendation by the concierge at our hotel. We arrived without reservation at 7:15 PM on a Saturday night. Many people waiting. But, we put our name on the list with an expected 15 minute wait. Right at 15 minutes, our name was called... More

A little hidden from the main drag but glad we found it. Service and food were very good and the restaurant was in a nice spot. Definitely recommend eating here if you're in town.

On our last night of a two week stay in stonington my husband went to this establishment hoping to get an early dinner. We were told that around 3 or 4 we would have no trouble getting a table. We had wanted to make reservations at one of the two more upscale restaurants in town, but they are only open... More

Went with very large family group. The wait staff were very good and everything went smoothly. I understand from the other members that the seafood was very tasty and fresh. The vegetarian options were a bit slim, but sufficient for the occasion.

I've eaten here several times over the years, and while I keep coming back hoping to be really impressed, it's really nothing great. The service is quite good, the location is excellent, but the seafood no better prepared or presented than you would get at any other seafood restaurant in Maine.

The outside may not look the best, tucked in next to a convenience store and the back of a parking lot, but the inside looks brand new. The place looks recently renovated, they have a little gift shop with some tasteful selections of tee shirts and knick knacks in the entry. Inside the decor looks clean and fresh. They have... More

We enjoyed a delicious seafood meal here, and loved the outdoor seating overlooking the harbor. Dog owners: we wished we brought our dog with us because it looks like dogs are allowed with you on the outdoor deck. :)

So we arrived into Stonington late and were advised by out host at our guest house that we go here - so we hurried over as we were advised that they would be stop serving at 9.00. We hurried over and met the co-owner who said that she would look after us and not to worry. We were seated and... More

The service was friendly and fantastic. They were right there when you needed them. My husband and I came here because of the reviews and it was even more than we expected. We ordered the Mate's Plate where you can order two types of seafood and a choice of starch and a choice of coleslaw or salad. I ordered the... More
