Yummy blueberry pancakes

I ordered the blueberry pancakes which were very good. They were golden brown with crispy edges. Friendly staff.

This was another place the 6 Texas Ladies invaded - yep we picked up another one on Monday. We promised Susie we would come for breakfast before we left for home. We had egg dishes with grilled - yes grilled blueberry muffins or coffee cake. Yum! the place was quaint and full of surprises. Antiques and books and lots of... More

My wife and I got off the mail boat from Isle au Haut back to Stonington and were looking for a place to eat after backpacking out from Duck Harbor campground to the boat in the morning. Susie Q's seemed to be the only place in town, but it did not disappoint. The proprietors were incredibly fiendly, the coffee was... More

I love this place. . .great food and people. I don't know what is different about their eggs but they are the best I can recall having. It must be the chef.

My husband and I were catching the ferry to Isle au Haut and stopped here for breakfast. It was quite busy, and we told our waiter that we needed to catch the ferry (we had about an hour). Service was prompt, and the food (eggs, toast, home fries and bacon) delish. While waiting, I looked around at the antiques and... More

Had a great breakfast there. Everyone so pleasant. Also a used book shop in back donations benefit children in Belize. Cute gifts there also and homemade donuts. A must eat

What a fun place to have breakfast! Four of us decided on a late breakfast and I had wanted to go to Susie Q's on this trip - both for the breakfast and the atmosphere. I was not disappointed! We had omelets and banana bread French toast and all were absolutely delicious! Their home fries were also superb, and coffee... More

Too seldom these days is one able to experience good and wholesome and straight forward "home cooking". Down at the end of Deer Isle in Stonington is a gem hidden just off the beaten path, but take the time to find it for an honestly good breakfast. I asked for two eggs "over easy", and was treated to two of... More

The breakfast fare is secondary to the local color. Susie and her staff are delightful and you feel like you're eating in someone's home kitchen. Eggs weren't cooked right but they bent over backward to make them right. This was our first visit but won't be our last. We really enjoyed it...only sorry that we were too late for the... More

We had a party of 8 people on our trip to Susie Q's. We had omelets, French Toast, Blueberry pancakes, eggs over easy and scrambled eggs. Everything was hot and tasty. Service was great and friendly also. We love the downeast atmosphere and listening to some of the locals.

Thank tony b
