I tripped across Sips on a rainy Monday of my first visit to Acadia. The town of Southwest Harbor is just outside of the Seawall campsite so this stop is super conveniently located for those wanting a break from camping and a taste of fine food at great prices. The first visit was breakfast of homemade granola, yogurt and fresh... More

We enjoyed a dinner here with our two teenage children that included plenty of options to match a simple or complex palate. Certainly worth a stop for very good food, some nice cocktails and a pleasant environment. Slightly above average price but worth it if you get tired of lobster, pizza or subs.

Enjoyed specials. Eggplant Parmesan with Italian sausage was excellent. Good drink prices at Happy Hour with all drinks half off, except bottles of wine.

Stopped in here for lunch and had a great experience. The staff was attentive, food excellent. Fair prices. The mac and cheese was some of the best I've ever eaten. Give this place a try!

We decided to enjoy a rainy day breakfast at Sips, since we go by it everyday on the way to work. The restaurant is very nice and in a great location. At first, I was a little thrown off because no one was there when we walked in or acknowledged that we were standing there, and so I asked if... More

Our dinner started out well and just never quit. First was the house Margarita, one of the best I've ever had and huge! Then on to the appetizer; Mussels Provencal - amazing and easily the best I've ever had. The mussels were so good I requested a spoon to finish off the broth! Then on to the main course -... More

Missed the seating at ten boat house for lunch, so stopped I'm here. Good lobster bisque and a BLT with avocado. Great repast after the sea kayak that morning! Nice staff, too!

We asked if the Haddock/lobster dish had a whole tail as described on the menu. The friendly waitress (Daisy) checked for us and said yes it came with a whole lobster tail. When the meal came there were just the meat of 2 tiny lobster claws. Very disappointing! We don't really like to complain but since we specifically asked about... More

We were holidays just up the road in Somesville and restaurant was recommended by the owner. A good choice - great atmosphere, good service and great food for a vegetarian too. Enjoyed the evening thoroughly, ending it of with exceptional espressos!
