Love this place--they always have fresh local items on the menu. We had the butternut squash and apple soup last time. My daughter just loved it as did I

Lots of vegetarian options. We ate outside and watched as folks passed by. Great spot for lunch. The menu is definitely unique.

Great food and drink in an eclectic setting! We always plan a meal or two here when we are up to Acadia.

After being away for two years, we returned to Mount Desert Island and were looking forward to returning to Eat-A-Pita in Southwest Harbor. It turned out to be a huge disappointment. As it was a nice day, we took a table on the patio for breakfast. There was one waiter handling about seven tables, and one ill-tempered waitress inside handling... More

We had dessert and returned for breakfast the next day. Their bread pudding was excellent and so were their pancakes.

Went three days in a row for breakfast. The first day the service was very slow, but the food made up for it. The second day the service was excellent, as was the food. The third day we ended up leaving after waiting 20 minutes for coffee that never showed... I imagine the food would have been as good as... More

Loved the food...service was s-l-o-w. The wait staff was friendly and we cannot figure out why it took so long to get a coffee and OJ. If you aren't on a time crunch, you will enjoy this restaurant!

The menu was perfect for a vegetarian! I had many choices and finally decided on a vege chili with cheddar cheese and sour cream. Yummm! I also loved their blueberry crisp with vanilla ice cream and a great cappuccino.

Had the pita omelet and an iced coffee sitting in their al fresco dining area; my husband had the fresh squeezed orange juice which was excellent. Great place!

Service can be iffy when they get crowded, but go a little before the rush and you will have a fabulous meal. Known for their lobster reubens (which my husband loved) and I thought the lobster salad was both generous and yummy.
