A great place to have lunch either inside or out on the picnic benches. A large menu to select from but you really need to have the lobster & shrimp pizza. It is different and it is very delicious. There are plenty of home baked temptations in addition to ice cream for desert.

This is another gem of a restaurant, come desert specialist along with Pizza! Great atmosphere and friendliness and high quality food not expected in a small Maine township. Situated in the the Acadia National Park. Make sure you stop here.

We went there for lunch based on nothing other than the location on the street and the fact that we were hungry. From the outside and from the inside it looks like a hometown american lunch diner. Small intimate seating with a small counter at the rear. Our waiter was quick and efficient. He was knowledgeable about the menu and... More

I had lunch at the Quietside last week. The Italian sub was small but tasty and the apple pie was very pleasant. The service was chaotic on a not very busy afternoon. The two servers kept getting in each other's way and seemed almost hostile to one another, making food delivery less efficient than it could have been. Also, the... More

We came just for coffee but couldn't resist this amazing pie! with a chocolate crust. The staff is super nice and efficient. Locals come here for both lunch and ice cream.

We were out driving around the island and had been told the day before that if we were in Southwest Harbor to try the blueberry pie at the ice cream shop. It was the best we have had since being in Maine! It was very thick and rich with tons if berries packed in a homemade double crust. Absolutely delicious--... More

After a beautiful hike up valley peak trail and acadia mountain trail we popped into this cozy little establishment for some ice cream. We entered the restaurant and it was very busy we sat at the bar- my girlfriend smelled pizza and we decided to split a small- the pizza was quite the spot hitter! After the pizza we each... More

Very small, unpretentious cafe with great food for the prices. Lobster pizza was excellent, the blueberry pie was also excellent. Ice cream very good. Staff were all friendly and efficient. There is something here for any taste; a very broad menu. Highly recommend it.

The food is some of the best. Ice cream and pies are yummy, and the owners are super! Great place to eat with good prices. Super lunch time place.
