We drove over to the "quiet side" of MDI to eat here. Glad we didn't delay as we ate the last day they were open. Great sandwiches, wonderful blueberry pie. Friendly people.

The Quietside Cafe in Southwest Harbor is a must-go-to place. They serve everything from homemade pies (yum) to ice cream to seafood. It is quaint and fun there.

What can't be said about this spot? If you sit at the counter, control your urges or you'll walkout with an amazing Apple or Blueberry pie. My wife and I picked up food to go the other night. Se grabbed a chicken sandwich and I grabbed a Lobster Roll and some Clam Chowder. Easily, the best Chowder I have ever... More

We were looking for a slice of blueberry pie with ice cream, but started with lobster rolls. A quaint, wonderful place, where it seems the locals go, as the owners served and joked with the customers. Nice people, good food!

Outstanding chowder and lobster stew. And then-the pie is to DIE for. Wicked Good. In fact everyone enjoyed everything.

So friendly and food was always good. We were just a block from here for the week and between four of us we ate here at least 6 times. The pie is great as well as the chowder and pizza. The lemonade is as good as Jordans Pond House. Thanks guys for giving us a great week.

A great place to have lunch either inside or out on the picnic benches. A large menu to select from but you really need to have the lobster & shrimp pizza. It is different and it is very delicious. There are plenty of home baked temptations in addition to ice cream for desert.

This is another gem of a restaurant, come desert specialist along with Pizza! Great atmosphere and friendliness and high quality food not expected in a small Maine township. Situated in the the Acadia National Park. Make sure you stop here.

We went there for lunch based on nothing other than the location on the street and the fact that we were hungry. From the outside and from the inside it looks like a hometown american lunch diner. Small intimate seating with a small counter at the rear. Our waiter was quick and efficient. He was knowledgeable about the menu and... More
