We had a lovely meal here in the thick of tourist season, but it seemed more laid back and peaceful here than in the streets of Bar Harbor. The service was fast, the server attentive and the food very filling and tasty. Our family had the cheeseburger, the scallops, and chicken tenders. We all had key lime pie for dessert,... More

After a long day of hiking, it was great to walk here for a quick dinner. The outdoor seating was perfect for us and our dog. The greek pizza was to die for! Best pizza ever!

My husband and I stopped here 3 times during our week long trip to Acadia- twice for dinner, and once just for dessert, as it was within walking distance to our cabin at Acadia Cottages. Dinner is simple, the dishes are not huge, but they're well made and great for a simple, casual, inexpensive meal. I had a wrap, and... More

Small café and ice cream shop in Southwest Harbor, ME, which offers friendly service and excellent sandwiches, salads and local cuisine. I had the crab cakes on 7/13/14 and they were the best I have ever had; fresh crab meat patties with a delicate sauce on top but not too much to destroy the flavor of the crab. Another time... More

Relief from the craziness of Bar Harbor. Small and simple. Good food, pleasant server, best lemonade in a long time. Extensive cafe-type menu.

Didn't eat a meal here but their macaroons are the best I have ever had. All their desserts are scrumptious. It is a lively, convenient, family friendly place that I recommend highly.

Delightful stop for lunch, a light dinner or ice cream. Owners are friendly and go out of their way to make coming here enjoyable. Great burger, fish and chips and Gifford's ice cream. Waitress from Romania and waiter from Serbia join the locals, which makes the experience even better. The hours are long and the work that goes into making the... More

While out driving the island we came across the Quietside. This is a very small restaurant with delicious food. We had a Philly steak sandwich, a Hugh hamburger, and a large bowl of fabulous pea soup. Finished off with ice cream, of which they had a large variety to pick from. The blueberry and apple pies were beautiful. Great place... More

Many thanks to all of those that recommended the pie in previous reviews. Having read them, we stopped in for dinner tonight with the family. We sat outside on the picnic tables and had a light dinner so we could get the point of our visit...the pie! We ordered a piece of the blueberry and a piece of the apple,... More
