Visited this place twice during our week in acadia and southwest harbor. Once for ice cream and once for lunch. Both times we had delicious food. Our favorite ice cream flavor was the peppermint or the moose tracks!!

Inside the restaurant is small, so they couldn't accommodate our large group. We were told to sit outside and a waiter would come take our order. They have picnic tables on the side of the building. The air conditioner unit drips water down on the sides of the first 2 tables, so it made in ackward to use all the... More

Hostess Francis and host Ralph are two of the most wonderful folks you'd ever want to chat with over lunch or dinner! QuietSide Cafe has a homey atmosphere, very attentive waitresses and waiters with ultra-quick service with a smile. Delicious homestyle cooking, great soups and sandwiches, burgers and pizzas, and the many varieties of soft and hard ice cream, and... More

Went here for sandwiches based on the good reviews. What a disappointment!!! Ordered "subs". The roll was less than 6 inches long with one slice of cheese, one slice of ham, one slice of turkey, a piece of lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and bacon bits (the Turkey BLT sub). It came with a few chips and I mean a few and... More

Sandwiches are tasty, stuffed, and priced right. Desserts are great plus there's an ice-cream counter if you want an ice-cream cone or sundae to eat there or take with you. There are picnic tables for outdoor seating.

Wouldn't really recommend it for dinner, but a wonderful little spot for lunch. We also walked in after dinner elsewhere, for an evening ice cream.

We ordered take-out after a long day of adventures and our meals were delicious - I ordered a wrap, my son ordered a calzone, and my husband had a sandwich.

My family and I stopped by for lunch. Enjoyed the food very much. The lobster rolls were very flavorful. More flavorful than other lobster rolls we've had. The clam chowder was great and the rueben was very good. The waiter was great. Would go back again.

We stopped by twice this week, once for lunch and once for breakfast; note not open for breakfast so we had an early lunch. Had fish/chips, fish chowder, lobster stew, crab cakes and turkey melt. Fish chowder was generously full of haddock, but it need salt/pepper, paprika or Tabasco would have been better. Lobster stew was awesome, again full of... More
