Modern, clean, casual and trendy. We went to The Claremont the night after eating here and found it to be a much nicer atmosphere, better food, better view and better service for prices that were exactly the same or even couple dollars less per plate. Pros: the pork appetizer was so good! easy location Cons: the caprese salad was overpriced... More

A very welcome return; we dined here last July and glad to have returned. We (well, I) took the server's suggestion of the specials - the smoked trout salad and smoked blue fish. Intriguing. No other way to put it. You have to appreciate the impact of curing fish in such a manner, something our island's forbears, the Indians, did... More

Fiddlers Green is a great little restraint, the owner, chief and staff always have their “A Game”. The food is always good, but at times it can be fantastic. The beer and wine selection is great and has a wide selection. The Lobster Strozzapretti is out of this world.

This venue is incredible! Easy parking, great acoustics and nice staff. Getting in and out was extremely painless and the concert was sold out. Can't wait to go back.

I was very impressed with Fiddlers' Green. The food and service was excellent. The most impressive part though was their "kid corner". A shelf in the outside eating area with toys, books and games for kids to use, return, and pick a new item. I ate here with two small children and they were kept entertained the whole time by... Halibut cooked in parchment paper was excellent. The trout was also beautifully presented and tasty. The Maine Blueberry old fashioned cocktail was outstanding (I was tempted to return for a nightcap!). The server was attentive and described all ingredients to a T. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Although the website mentions it overlooks the ocean, with the high bushes you... More

We've been coming here for years. Great service and delectable food. Try the Brussels sprouts, burgers or the salmon. The bulgogi salad is amazing. Can't go wrong with any of the dessert pies. For the kids menu the pasta with red sauce has always been a hit. Inexpensive but selective wine list is a cherry on the top.

I wasn't really thinking that my meal was going to be good because I ordered wild Salmon and it wasn't Sockeye or from the Coho River. Therefore, I wasn't expecting much, but I was happily surprised. The salmon was cooked just right and had a wonderful taste. I was totally amazed. This has been my favorite place to eat a... More

This owner-chef restaurant serves up an eclectic variety of palate-pleasing, gourmet cuisine with international cultural influences. The food is outstanding and so is the service. By far our favorite restaurant in Southwest Harbor, maybe even the whole island.
