My husband and I had a lovely dinner at Fiddler's Green last week. Our server was knowledgeable about the food and the wine and made excellent suggestions. We especially appreciated that the menu had many gluten free offerings and several that could be made gluten free with slight modifications. Knowing that the chef and the wait staff understands and accommodates... More

We made a reservation on a Sunday night in August for my birthday (although we did not tell them the occasion). Upon arrival we were welcomed by a very cheery and inviting hostess whom looked up our reservation. She asked us our preference of seating, and my partner said, "whatever the birthday girl wants." The hostess walked us through different... More

We had an amazing dinner tonight at Fiddlers Green.....all fresh, local food cooked with flair and creativity. Our waitress was amazingly friendly, intelligent, and fun, as was the hostess. Lots of organic and healthy delicious food concoctions - we needed the waitress's help to order, because everything looked amazing!!! Definitely our favorite meal in Southwest Harbor and all of Acadia!... More

Good dining experience. Service was excellent. Smoked fish appetizer very good. My wife's eggplant lasagna was a bit overcooked, my pork was fair (tasted by BBQ pulled pork without a good sauce). Pots de creme should have been served as room temperature Wine prices reasonable.

I cannot say enough wonder things about Fiddlers' Green. I dined there with my family in August of 2014 and there were 10 of us including 4 children ranging in age from 1 year to 11 years. The restuarant staff did an amazing job accomodating us-they even had a bin of toys/games to help entertain the children! Although the restuarant... More

My wife and I are locals and we try to get to all the local eateries at least once a summer and we have made it to Fiddlers twice this summer and we are really glad we did. It's always a treat and the owner/chef has an always interesting menu and a few specials as well. Great beers as he... More

My husband and I are reasonably proficient in the kitchen, so when we eat out, we cant it to be something we couldn't produce on our own. Boy, did Fiddler's Green fit that bill! We shared 3 menu items and each was outstanding. The Lobster-cheddar bisque, lobster enchilada were especially unique and scrumptuous. We'd both come back here in a... More

We had a nice meal here after not eating here for years. The best part of the meal was the dessert. The homemade ice cream with wonderful caramel topping was truly spectacular. The pot creme was thick and delicious too. The only uncomfortable aspect of the meal was that it was a hot muggy night and where we were sitting... More

Indeed, after years of summering on MDI, my wife & I finally got to Fiddler's Green and were pleasantly surprised at how good the dishes were. But why shouldn't we have been ? Maybe it's a reflection on how spoiled we've become to the other fine places in SW Harbor. We started with the "Little Pig" (a minced pork +... More
