This is a casual place with some very good food. Families with children are welcomed. We dined in the screened terrace which was most pleasant. We had an enjoyable Caesar salad and an over-salty salt cod croquette to start, followed by a good duck breast and a house specialty - shredded long-cooked pig. There is a good selection of well-priced... More

Seasonal, fresh, organic local foods means choices are various.. Halibut, trout and steak were our decisions and all were wonderful. Cooked perfectly and able to find a wine for all tastes. Good Service and colorful decor. We will be back. Had Gluten free choices if needed. Wear upscale casual dress.

We were very pleased with the service and food at Fiddler's Green. We have food allergies and the server was very helpful as we selected our entrees. We both selected the scallops and were very pleased with both the presentation and the flavor. Serving portions were more than ample. Dessert was heavenly (ice cream and pot du cream were selected).... More

We came here to celebrate our anniversary during our vacation. Ambiance was excellent, and we had delicious meals.

While vacationing in Southwest Harbor we enjoyed dinner at Fiddlers' Green. The service was very good, the pork that everyone raved about was very good but the chili rellenos were superb! Prices were on the high side.

We dined there twice during this visit, reservations the first night, the meal and service were excellent. Decided at the last minute to return the second night without a reservation and were remembered from the first night and accommodated with no problem . The menu was creative with many gluten free items and a good wine and beer list. Pleasant... More

While the service was good, I found the prices to be high for the food we received. The food was good but I didn't think it was worth such a high price tag. I left disappointed.

We really enjoyed this place and ended up going twice while visiting SWH, both times sitting in the bar area. Great service, very friendly, and clearly a favorite among locals, too. Casual dress is just fine, though with the fine dining atmosphere you may want to lean more toward your "nice casual" attire. We shared the lobster pasta dish and... More

We wanted to like this, we really did. Charming town, cottage and grounds. Lovely porch, lots of laughing diners, but....we should have known what was to come after an unusually long wait for our server after being seated. When we were finally asked what we wanted, another long absence with a drink order placed. And it wasn't just us; it... More

The food was alright. The menu was very creative with several gluten free and vegetarian options. It was very pricey. They also requested that we change our dinner reservations to 15 minutes earlier (despite a half empty restaurant at our requested time).
