My husband and I are reasonably proficient in the kitchen, so when we eat out, we cant it to be something we couldn't produce on our own. Boy, did Fiddler's Green fit that bill! We shared 3 menu items and each was outstanding. The Lobster-cheddar bisque, lobster enchilada were especially unique and scrumptuous. We'd both come back here in a... More

We had a nice meal here after not eating here for years. The best part of the meal was the dessert. The homemade ice cream with wonderful caramel topping was truly spectacular. The pot creme was thick and delicious too. The only uncomfortable aspect of the meal was that it was a hot muggy night and where we were sitting... More

Indeed, after years of summering on MDI, my wife & I finally got to Fiddler's Green and were pleasantly surprised at how good the dishes were. But why shouldn't we have been ? Maybe it's a reflection on how spoiled we've become to the other fine places in SW Harbor. We started with the "Little Pig" (a minced pork +... More

A fine dining experience with some great views of the harbor. I have many great memories from dining here...including my 1st & only sighting of a Bald Eagle.

My wife and I took another couple for dinner to Fiddler's Green. Among us we had sole roll-ups with crab stuffing, a trout filet, and blackened bluefish. Topping off the dinner was blueberry pie for two of us and a chocolate cake for the other pair. All dishes were superb. A slight downside was that the kitchen staff missed that... More

Our first night in Southwest Harbor, we walked to Fiddlers Green and had a lovely dinner. Good service, nice atmosphere, and wonderful food. The food was beautifully presented. Better than the usual vegetarian choices. The house-smoked fish was the best!

Fiddler's Green was the worst part of my 1 week trip to Acadia. There was first a very long wait since there was no one greeting or seating guests, so there was a large group of incoming people accumulating in the doorway. When someone did come back to the front, she first seated a group of 4 and then proceeded... More

We came in on a Saturday evening and had no wait, which we were happy about. All our entrees but for one were terrific. Just order your hamburger one and a half levels less cooked than you rapt want it. My son wanted medium week and received a puck.

Great service, delicious food, friendly staff. The roast pig was great. Same for the two smoking fish.
