I had a chance to visit the Common Good Kitchen Cafe in July of 2012, and it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, open, and warm. We came on a Saturday and were treated to warm popovers, good coffee, local jams, and live music. As others have stated, it's food with a purpose, using the donations from... More

My wife and I stayed at the Seawall Motel in August for a couple of nights and we had breakast both days at the Common Good Cafe. It really couldn't have been any better. The food was fresh and very good, the staff was awesome and it all goes for a great cause - which is to provide help to... More

Not only is this a great location where you can sit by the windows and watch the beautiful ocean, you will find the freshest food, prepared with care and to top it off, the profits go to help those in need in the community. There is no way to go wrong here unless you just don't put this on your... More

This cafe is very welcoming with a family staff, big dining room, free wifi and coffee refills. They take donations for their main cause of feeding the hungry in this area during the lean, hard winter months here. The food is very fresh and well-prepared and they serve sprouted grains and some organically grown foods and coffee. They also play... More

This was a very pleasant surprise...the first time we went we had breakfast - I had the French toast (made with Challah bread and real maple syrup - divine!) while my friend opted for the Egg and Cheese on a home-made onion roll. The prices were very reasonable (under $10 each) with the best coffee we've found so far on... More

Home cooked breakfast - great home fries. My sister loved her multi-grain blueberry pancakes - she is always very picky about what she eats! Mark Kanter is a well know and very well respected chef in the area. His pastries and cookies are the best in the world - highly recommended. Great coffee! Beautiful ocean view too. You will love... The Common Good , I've come to find out is a non-profit which operates food programs in the winter. The cafe has the best breakfast I've ever eaten out with a number of unique things. Try the homemade onion rolls, yummmm. The staff is super friendly and ready to offer information on the surrounding area. Free WiFi and a billion... More
