We specifically come here for the fish chowder and the haddock sandwich. The chowder is just the perfect blend of fresh haddock ,potato and salt and pepper. The fish is firm and not mushy in the chowder. The haddock sandwich is also highly recommended. Again the fish is so fresh and sweet and the presentation is perfect. If you have... More

Stopped in for lunch with the family while on vacation. The atmosphere of this small place is fairly plain. It has the feel of a locals hangout versus a tourist destination. The service was really pretty bad. They had one waitress who was super slow and not very attentive. HOWEVER, the food more than makes up for these shortcomings. Everything... More

garden salad, chicken sandwich special, two blueberry lemonades, a tiny cup of she crab spicy soup, a two very tiny sides of coleslaw. Grand total $38! the soup alone was $9 and ax the street at Sips- much nicer, more sophisticated, better ambiance restaurant a cup of their soup(homemade and all that jazz-only $3!) Don't get me wrong the service... More

Very unpretentious, welcoming, and relaxed - a little like eating over at a friend's house, in a good way. The food was very good. The prices were reasonable. The service was friendly and casual. Nothing fancy, but I would easily return here again and again. As one reviewer said, "the place makes you feel like a local." I think that... More

Our whole family loves this place! Every year when we are in town, we have at least a couple of meals here. WhT I especially love is that the owner, Johnny, remembers us. It is one of those places that makes you feel like a local. They have a wonderful and ecclectic menu. Casual, a mixture of american with some... More

We ordered take-out from Jay Dubs and were very happy with our choice. The burgers were so good and the fries were perfect! They do not take cards, but they do provide an ATM so you can take cash out. Very friendly staff and great food and an easy location. Only thing I would advise people of is that the... More

I'm sad we couldn't try the pizzas, but stopped in to pick up deserts on our way home on a rainy night. Yummy, rich chocolate espresso bundt... Moist and great flavor. A blueberry coffee cake slice so huge and good it works for two. Welcoming owner and staff and a relaxed atmosphere.

While we loved the delivery, we ordered 5 LARGE pizza's to feed a group of 20 adults. The large pizzas were barely enough for one person, more like a mini. Also, the toppings were placed in a small circle in the middle of the pizza. Do not order pizza from here unless they have changed. We didn't try any other... More
