Touring the island & stopped for lunch

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. This is a little diner that is obviously popular with the natives, and for good reason!! I had a turkey club sandwich ... The best I have ever eaten. Real turkey, not deli. Cole slaw had a little too much mayo but was quite good nonetheless. My hubby had the... read more

A great place to gather. Good food, reasonably priced, with an attentive waitstaff. Not a typical Bar Harbor area tourist trap and a favorite among locals

Small mom and pop cafe. Felt the prices were a little high considering the ambiance or lack there of. Food was ok and they do accept credit cards.

You should come hungry to this cafe in Southwest Harbor. Had the steak & eggs w/ hash browns. Nothing special really but it was really quite good.

We visited for breakfast. The portions were well worth the money and the food was very good. I recommend their cinnamon toast.

No wait. Friendly waitstaff. Menu small but it's your typical townie breakfast joint. Eggs, pancakes, and French toast. Food was tasty and cheap. Kids were happy with their meals. My husband and I enjoyed our food. Nothing extravagant but simple. Homemade bread was a plus. Came here 14 years ago- place hasn't changed:) definitely a good choice and would rather... More

located on a side street would probably not see it if you were not looking for it. Good blueberry pancakes. Service was so so. The waitress was to the point with no small talk at all. I had to get up and go ask her for more coffee. So if you are looking for good breakfast for a good price... More

Good, fast service like you would expect at a diner. We ate breakfast there and we enjoyed our food. If you are looking for frills and high end dining, this isnt the place for you! If you want quick, cheap and good food this is a great find off the beaten path.

This is a friendly small cafe with wonderful service and food. They had good choices and the food was prepared to get the most flavor from the foods. It is not fancy, but it is clean, pleasant, and reasonable.
