Disappointment

Went for late lunch on a Friday afternoon. Server was friendly and attentive, but had no knowledge of beer whatsoever, a huge obstacle in a pub with lots of different craft beers (with unique names). "What style of beer is that?" "Um, sorry I dunno." Because of that, I asked to try two samples... read more

My 16 year old son had never had lobster before. The hotel recommended this place and they were spot on! Fun atmosphere, they taught him how to eat it and the staff was attentive and pleasant all night long! Will be a life long memory!

This was my second time visiting Sea Dog's, and again they did not disappoint. Their micro-brews are top notch. The service was outstanding, I wasn't sure what to have and after some discussion with the server I settled on the Stuffed Haddock and it was fabulous. I can't wait to get to visit Sea Dog's again. Perhaps during some warmer... More

This place is awesome. Great atmosphere, servers are attentive and know what they are doing. Oh, and there's the food... Delicious. I love lobster, and even more when they prep it for you. I can wait to get back there and have it again. Can you build one in Salt Lake City?

We went furniture shopping and decided to stop here for lunch to try it out, seeing as they have a restaurant under construction in our home town, and we wanted to try it out. Service was friendly, drinks were good, fun atmosphere. A lot of the menu items incorporated some of their house brews, including the mixed drinks! It was... More

Went for dinner on a Sunday evening, 2 adults 1 child. Got a table and drinks quickly. Blueberry ale was flat and didn't taste right. Fried pickles for an appetizer, tasted great but portion size was only about 1/2 of the portion size we get at the Seadog in Topsham that we visit frequently. I had a burger, tasted good... More

Stopped by for dinner and had a pleasant time. They had lobster (obviously) for a decent price; although it was a no-frills meal, it was good. Must admit that the beers did not suit our tastes, but they offer a wide selection and had we sampled all of them, undoubtedly we would have found some that were more to our... More

I go out to eat quite frequently and love checking out new places. So a friend of mine recommended Seadog. So as we were graciously greeted by our Server, Tasha, she advised us it was trivia and it can be somewhat loud. As a bartender in this profession, I appreciated her honesty and explained that that's fine. She sat us... More

One of my main reasons why I visit local micro-breweries is to be able to take beer home and give out to friends and family. I was dismayed at my last visit at Sea Dog in S. Portland when they told me that they did not have any growlers available. I was told that they received a shipment of growlers,... More

Had the Haddock sandwich with fries and the meal was absolutely incredible. I love French fries, but I can be kind of picky about them. The fries here were exceptional! Also had a couple drinks with dinner and they were beyond tasty! Well worth the money. I have heard the service can be hit or miss, but we had an... More
