We stumbled upon this gem after a day of shopping and we were so pleasantly surprised. The location would make one think that it would be your average pub food but it was so much more. First night I had the fish tacos and they were amazing. So good that we went back a second time that week and I... More

While I enjoy having the option of all the microbrews they have on tap, the food is very overpriced for what it is. Example, the kids meal of linguine with two small spongy premade/frozen type meatballs was $8! While I ordered a gluten free menu item, it came smothered in gravy and with fries that are clearly not gluten free... More

I went with my wife and my in laws last week. My brother and I had their burger special at $14 each. They were truly awful- and I'm not a fussy guy. They were charred on the outside and pink in the middle. No flavor. The service was good. This place can be quite noisy and it was the past... More

This place was your average pub fair, had a chain star feel to it. The calamari was good and so was the Caesar, but my broiled haddock was just ok. The rice was old and had bits of crunchy dried rice that was inedible, but as soon as I mentioned it the server brought out fresh rice and apologized, it... More

It was average. However, this site says it accepts reservations and when I called, I was told that they do not. They do a "call ahead" instead. I was coming in with a large party and even with the call ahead we waited. So, while the food was ok, not impressed with their management practices. So, gave it a poor... More

Have yet to have a good meal here in multiple tries. If you go, I would stick to a burger or something. Last visit I had buffalo wings that were so over-cooked, they were just dry grossness. I also got mussels that arrived cold. Nasty. In addition, their beer always seems to be flat. If you're looking for this type... More

Great food (huge portions), great beer, and a great view! We were visiting from Florida and it was nice to see a casual dining restaurant with a variety of drink and good options.

Nice grill and pub with good assortment of beer and interesting menu choices. Enjoyed fries/gravy/pork and mussels. Both meals were good and both the light and dark beer we had were delicious.

Been wanting to try the restaurant in Bangor, but never have the chance, so we wanted a light lunch after arriving from the airport and discovered that there was one in Portland. Delicious Seafood and Fish Chowder, will be back for sure next time in the area to try more items off the menu.

My husband and I had talked about doing a day trip (2 1/2 hr drive from home) to So. Portland specifically to go to Sea Dog Brewing Co. I LOVE their blueberry ale, which was why we wanted to go there. We arrived at 1:00 on Tuesday and while it is in a "mall" area and is a newer building,... More
