Home style Buffet as it's now called is ok. There is a lot to choose from but it's all just ok. You get what you pay for. I tried the New England Clam Chowder, steak, potatoes, and a roll. For desert I tried the fruit. Price wise it's cheap but it's a buffet don't expect gourmet food.

Just had lunch with our 5 children. It was heavenly for them. The food was ok and there were lots of options for everyone in the party.

I was hesitant about going in because the parking lot was packed and there was a line going out the door. We were already there so we got in line. I was surprised how fast the line moved, but there were several large parties in front of us so they moved right along. Excellent selection of dishes, everything one could... More

You know you always find a buffet that has something you thought would taste better than it actually does? Well, be prepared. We kept waiting to find that moment. There was none. Everything, and I mean everything was delicious. Unbelievable. Their ice cream is the best anywhere, too. We ate dinner one night and lunch two days later. Awesome, just... More

This restaurant is now called Hometown Buffet...took my family of 4 recently...we were all disappointed in the quality of the food; our experiences at Golden Corral have been much better than this. Will not go back to Hometown Buffet again.

All you can eat buffet with so many choices. We went for lunch and paid 850 and pigged out! Drinks are a couple of dollars more and you help yourself to that too...sodas, milk/chocolate milk, coffees etc. You can't go wrong here!

My family absolutely loves this place, and we go here every time we visit Maine. It is incredibly cheap, and the food is delicious. They have a Mexican bar, an Asian bar, a dessert bar, a salad bar...etc. There's always a lot of people when we visit, so the atmosphere of the place is wonderful. Highly recommended!

I just did a review for this under Hometown Buffet but see it here again under Old Country Buffet so I am copying my Hometown review and putting it here as well since it is the same restaurant! I heard about this restaurant from friends who have travelled to Portland from or city so we thought we would try it.... More

We all love to eat here. We can never agree on a restaurant for our family because we all like different things, so someone ultimately doesn't enjoy their meal. Here we all get to eat something we like because of the variety and we all go home well fed and happy. Priced right too!
