We visited this little restaurant for lunch. We had a reservation for 9 people. When we arrived we were told that they had the call requesting a reservation (made by a local B&B) but they did not take reservations. But, it turned out that there was a power failure (due to someone hitting a phone pole and knocking out power)... More

Fair. Our waitress was capable, but not at all friendly. We had a nice table outside. When we arrived the interior was packed with people for an extremely lively happy hour. Fortunately, they weren't there during our entire meal. I ordered the lobster tempura as an appetizer. It was served more like a kebob -- I had hoped it would... More

Both host and hostess behaved like they were at a funeral. No smiles,no pleasantries. This is our second trip. The waitstaff we have encountered has been lax at best.I have been happy with my meal both times. My husband's salmon was the worst he has ever had.The view is incredible! I suppose they are getting tired of the tourists, which we are not.

sad to say our experience was definitely not warm and fuzzy. don't bother going there if you aren't part of the "in crowd". can't say service was bad; there just wasn't any! we brought our drinks out to the deck to enjoy a bit of sun. no one asked if we wanted to see a menu, even tho we did... Based of many of the reviews we were Based on many of the reviews we were lucky to have had such a good meal and service; however, thinking back on the experience we were only served by the ladies. No reservation at 11:45; we were offered a nice table on the deck, two glasses of OK wine quickly followed and... More

It's on the water. A live band played on the outdoor deck. Cold beer and good food was served. Service was friendly. I enjoyed a fantastic day with friends here and would definitely return again.

We had lunch late, 1:30 ish, so no crowds. We got a perfect table outside on main deck with back bench that offers tons of room and the most amazing views. All food we had was excellent. I would have liked to try the lobster roll but not at $24.00, come 'on. Service was very good, friendly, couldn't ask for... More

Every summer the drama in S. Bristol is whether the food at Coveside is as good as the view. Some years it has been awful but in my opinion it's very good if you factor in the view. I have only had lunch there this year and some renters I know said their dinners were disappointing but I say "go... More

We went here twice during our vacation. We spent a lot of money for a party of 9. We just left there tonight and there was a party of 14 in front of us that didn't make a reservation (we did)... They left because the restaurant couldn't accommodate them (though it wasn't busy)... Then the owner met us and said... More

View is perfect, seating indoor or outdoor is super, food is delicious, however the only problem was that the service was slow. Other than that it was a perfect night for me to meet a friend who sailed up from New York! Dessert note...ask for them to be heated up (pies especially)
