A bunch of Ladies & I eat out each month. Usually there is about a dozen of us. We are professionals.... Accountants, Nurses, Bus Drivers, Business Owners, etc. We also ride our own motorcycles. When we called to make a reservation for a Wednesday evening we requested one of the deck ends so that we could all be together. We... More

Beautifully located. Pub style. Friendly and attentive clean service. It was a batchlorette party so we had requested and we're promised live music. The music never arrived and we weren't ever given an explanation after complaining. Waitresses were very knowledgeable and helpful. Gratuity already added into our check. Waitresses would've gotten a larger tip but we thought that was rude.... More

I went for my birthday with my wife. We were seated right away on the outside deck. Our server quickly brought our drinks. I had an excellent local beer , my wife ordered a Kahlua sombrero. Her sombrero was sour as if made with sour milk. She is not one to complain but just set it aside and ordered a... More

The menu offers a wide variety of appetizers, entrées, desserts and drinks to satisfy all tastes, and the outdoor views are wonderful!

We stopped for the view but we ate a delicious dinner of lobster and surprisingly we found such a friendly group of people. Our waitress was so helpful and offered helpful drink and food advise. We had such a nice visit we drove the 21 miles back the next evening for dinner. The halibut and the maple chipotle salmon were... More

Just wanted a late night snack so my wife had the haddock soup and I had the onion soup. We both enjoyed them. I think it's one of the best onion soups I've had - very good service too!

Neat little pub, with outdoor dining overlooking river/dam of Skowhegan, Maine. Even on a rainy, chilly, dreary day - the view was great. Very enjoyable. It started raining on us, and we moved inside no problem. Upstairs view was just as nice, and warmer! Not very kid friendly, but my boys enjoyed their kids meals. Food was ok, I don't... More

The food is average. The fried food tastes neglected. The men's restroom is segregated to the upstairs, so beware if your a mobility challenged man. The floors are disgusting. The service is inconsistent, and sometimes too distracted or moody. Many patrons seem to be over-poured, so dinning can sometimes be a little rackus. I'd steer clear.

On a road trip from Ohio though New England, we came across this place while on Rt. 2 through Maine. We stopped in for an early dinner, and would recommend it to anyone passing through. Our waitress Jaime was super attentive and pleasant. Would definitely frequent this place if we lived locally!

For one of the smallest kitchens (smaller then my home kitchen) they almost always pull it off during crowded times. We have never had a bad meal when eating there. If packed it may take time to get service, but if sitting outside on the deck, who cares while watching the river flow by under your feet. Love everything about... More
