Fun place-yummy dogs-little pricey

I was disappointed to see they got rid of the ice cream milk shakes they originally served. Their menu prices are still way too high which tends to keep my family away when you have kids to feed but if it's just my husband and I or if I'm running errands with only one child I would stop in as... read more

So I took my two kiddos in to get cheese dogs, 2 small fries and 2 small sodas and spent nearly $20.00 with tax. We are talking about TWO hotdogs with cheese….I mean seriously…they just aren't that good. Maybe it was just me, but I could have grilled 12 natural casing hot dogs, put them on standard bread rolls, and... More

I ordered a plain hot dog on poppy seed bun and fries. The fries were good but I could have had the same quality hot dog buying a pack of Ballpark franks at Hannaford. What disgusted me was the lack of cleaning. Nasty filth on the right side of the soda machine; dust under the overhang right above where we... More

Great place to meet a friend, have lunch and a couple of beers without breaking the bank! Always friendly and unhurried at Chicago Dogs.

I do like the novelty of the meats and subs that Ch-town-D provides, however the prices are high enough that I feel compelled to write a review. A King Kielbassa Sub cost $7.49, but the "combo" (fries, drink) sent the bill to $12.50. That's pushing it, in my opinion. The renovation looks great, however.

Giving Chicago Dogs 2 stars was VERY generous on my part. I kinda like the place and I love their dogs, but tonight was another story. I ordered two dogs, no relish, no peppers and I got a load of relish and peppers. It was mostly picked off! Then the fries were like well done potato sticks. Tonight was far... More

Simply wonderful Chicago style hot dogs as well as many other styles. French fries are hand cut and tasty, although not my favorite. Worth a stop if you are in a hot dog mood.

I've stopped here a half dozen times or more. The staff are always friendly and the food is fast but consistently good. I will usually order the chili cheese dog with fries and a drink. They have some of the best French fries anywhere in the area. The only time that I didn't enjoy my meal was the time I... More

We had an appetite for Chicago dogs, ordered two and also ordered the sausage with grilled peppers and onions. The sausage was far superior to the dogs - I'd recommend that. The fries were as good as others have noted. The service was kind of slow but you can watch baseball while you wait.

We go here when we want a simple meal that's cheap, fast and tasty. The French fries are really good. They are shoe string and obviously hand cut, fresh!! There is a huge selection of condiments, especially hot sauce. They have "Slush Puppies" (different name - same thing), Root Beer Floats, Old Fashioned root beer in a frosted mug and... More
